Vitello Will Not Leave Tennessee. . .

I’m also going to say this…

By going radio silent, Danny White is going to look like he was asleep at the switch and just didn’t care. He can’t just let LSU call an introductory press conference and lose control of the narrative. And then a day later announce UT’s “commitment” to baseball and that he is starting his own coaching search.

He knows where things stand. He needs to be out in front of this.

This is about as dumb a take as the “Grumors”. “Why doesn’t the AD or Gruden address the rumors”? Maybe because all of this is nothing more than pure conjecture and message board rumors and an AD worth his job doesn’t address baseless rumors

now, yeah. Alabama sure wasn't in that position before Saban got there. If anything, LSU baseball and Alabama football comparison is extremely valid.

Sure it is lol. Alabama has 18NC’s, LSU has 4 in baseball with 3 out of 4 coming under Bertman in the 90’s. Alabama has won multiple NC’s in every decade except two and multiple NC’s under five different head coaches. You can’t be serious but you are

This all sounds great, just awaiting confirmation from "Stoerner Fumbles" and his friend!

A few reasons to help y'all stop freaking out:

1. Danny White.
We need national attention and successful athletic programs for him to be successful as well. He has the free range to spend like he wants to make that happen, that's most of the reason he came here anyway. Not many places have the funding to be successful and the desire as well.

2. Vitello.
He is actually a loyal man and he knows what he's doing. He's invested in these guys and they're invested in him. He's building a national power here. He doesn't need to ride someone else's coattails.

3. Knoxville.
Have any of y'all been to these different campuses and cities? Knoxville and the surrounding area is far, and I mean way farther better bestest, than the other places. Where else can you have a town and people like Knoxville, then drive to a rainforest on your days off to relax?

4. He's already said so.
He won't leave if things are done how they should be, and they will be, see #1.

5. Check
my
Damn
stats
if you don't believe me.

They won 6 under Saban. 8 of the 12 others are disputed.. so that brings the real total down to.. oh look at that! 4.

Don’t believe me, though. Just read how absurd some of their national title claims are here. How many national titles has Alabama actually won?

You are dumber than a half eaten sandwich, Bear Bryant won six and Gene Stallings won one. None of those are disputed by anyone outside of an Auburn basement. Seven plus six is thirteen not four, I know math is hard for you. Of the other five “disputed” ones, Alabama was undefeated in three of them. On no planet is that even remotely close to Alabama except your imagination

We’re not counting sabans since the comparison is to alabama pre Saban, one.
Two, they are disputed heavily. Read the article. The NCAA doesn’t even recognize alabama as champions in most of them. But yeah, just me and auburn.

Alabama played in the NC game or for it eight other times and played in Atlanta for the SEC championship five times during the 90’s one of their worst decades.

Weird because the NCAA recognizes 16 on its own website, ten equals four in your imagination

Bout to learn.
My friend has no finger in this pie. I can only tell you our administration donor and AD alignment are the best they’ve been in decades. Anyone who thinks we’ll let go of TV easily has lost it. The guy is really excited about building a legacy that includes putting his stamp on culture, brand and facility development. It would take a lot to get him to leave. At LSU, he can walk in Bertman’s shadow, but never top it. At UT, he can be our Bertman. As for traditition, LSU had an undeniably stellar run under one of the best coaches ever, but it’s hard to call that a “tradition”, at least not in the way we might discuss Kentucky or UCLA basketball or Notre Dame or Alabama football. Typically college baseball success runs in streaks. Momentum for a school can be built in under five years, as TV has proven. Ultimately if he’s offered, he’ll make the decision based on a long list of unknowns and knowns. That said, the guy loves our university, our town, his players, and his support network. He won’t dismiss that easily.

Thank you, thank you, thank you. You write better than me, that's why I don't tell these boys stuff. Get called a troll and liar, etc.

Anyone else notice that big brown folder he’s carrying? I bet it’s his LSU contract!!!!! I noticed he was carrying it at Hoover when I took a pic with him and it lines up with the time line provided by Tiger Droppings. Crap! He probably signed it and has carried it around since the first series with LSU.
