When I played highschool football in Kansas we had a box full of foot powder where we would put our cleats on before heading out on the field. My friends and I would dump extra powder in our shoes so we would have little puffs of smoke coming out when we did our warm up sprints. Made my 4.9 40 look faster. . .

I don't get it either. In the eyes of some, the fact that they are NOT Nike is reason enough to drop them.

I agree with giving adidas the boot. Kids like the pro-combat unis by nike and that would give us another recruiting tool, albeit a very small one.
