Ok look, old people who are butt hurt over tradition and no change are not the ones playing the games. The people playing the games are 18-22 years old. Do you guys honestly think they give a rats ass about tradition? Maybe but I can promise that most of those kids like new uniforms with ( a word that my generation uses) swag. I love our uniforms but I think we should make some changes like GETTING THE ****ING ORANGE ON OUR DAMN HELMETS TO MATCH THE ORANGE ON OUR DAMN UNIFORMS..... What my point is im in high school and I know how kids my age think. We like new not old... the truth hurts sometimes doesn't it....

Its almost 10 am, get your ass outta bed.

Time to go to Wal-Mart and pick up some Faded Glory school jeans.

Someone's being grumpy AND has bad memory. '08 '09 '10 '11 were all on the 4th Saturday of October.

The location of running through the T on the field changed as the stadium changed. (You know, new stuff)

It is still called the third Saturday regardless of when it is played. And the location of the T is irrelevant. It is still running through the T, and is a long standing tradition.

i agree with this, and wouldnt want UT to change from its traditional looking uniforms, but doing a one game special uniform does no harm to any tradition.

Well, Alabama's helmets don't match their jerseys, so I guess Nike isn't great at matching colors, either.

UNC's didnt match in the music city bowl either. They are Nike too.

Probably because Crimson is darker. I'm just guessing though.

Probably. It may be because of the color, but I can't think of many teams whose jerseys match their helmets and pants stripes as poorly as Tennessee's.

I agree we are off badly. Our stuff looked yellow when we played you guys last year.

For a while I thought it was just like like that on camera. But it looked yellow in person two years ago.

The away pants looked yellow against Arkansas last year too. Didn't look that way against Florida though, so maybe it was the lighting in the Arkansas stadium.

The tech fit did look yellow in 2010. They tweaked the home jerseys going into last season. It really only looks yellow on tv now.
