Okay, here is what I mocked up really quick and went ahead and put the carbon fiber helmet on as well. ;)>

Pardon some of the roughness to the helmet, I know the T got distorted when I warped it to try to match the helmet area on the original image, plus some of the facemask doesn't look quite right....but you get the idea from this I think.

I'm likin' this!

DP does that nonsense about pulling all the black UT apparrel still stand? i swear, our AD is run by complete idiots.

Why is it nonsense for our AD to want our players and coaches to wear the school color?

They didn't "pull all of the black," they just made less of it available, wanting to return Neyland Stadium and other facilities to the sea of orange they once were.

You can tell it is a slow time in Tennessee football because I've seen more posts done in this thread over the weekend than the past month. ; )> And I am working on all (that I can think of) the various versions of unis people have been asking about, just working it in with my real job stuff...

I'm sure there are some teams out there that have a black and orange color scheme if you want to buy some apparel in those colors. Orange and white are UT's colors, so that's what colors the merchandise should be.

because the black apparell looks a lot better. i know the old crowd doesnt like black :whistling: but when Kiffin's team wore the black warm ups, and made the circle around the T on the field, before games, it was a sweet sight to see.

this mindset is why the college football world passed Tennessee by in every aspect. the problem is, you guys dont even realize it.

So you're okay with the boys on the field looking into the stands and seeing a sea of black shirts? What happens when we play Vandy? Makes it kind of look like Vandy has more fans than us.

Yea the old people think if its not orange and white its not Tennessee. Even tho we have pink, yellow,BLACK,GREY,AND camo clothes. Do you want fulmer and the run every down back to

fan gear means very little. Couldn't care less what people wear but at the games it would be nice to see more orange in the stands

and the run every down back to

I would take it in a heartbeat but we've never been that kind of team. At least not in the time since you've been watching

What? Wanting to use our school colors has allowed us to get passed over in every aspect of the game? Wanting a sea of orange in the stands has ruined our program? Maybe, just maybe, it is the other way around. Maybe all the kids screaming for new school colors and flaunting every color except orange has demoralized the players over the past few years. Maybe it is the progressives who have ruined the program.

yeah......ok now you're reaching.

The fact that UT won't come out in a different uniform every single week as a blatant cash grab for additional jersey sales is the reason college football has passed UT by? Last I checked Alabama's current uniforms are nearly indistinguishable from the uniforms they were wearing 50 years ago, and they've won 3 of the past 4 National Championships. Might want to search elsewhere for the cause of UT's problems, because clearly lack of innovation on the gameday attire front doesn't have to be an obstacle.

So representatives of our school should not wear our school color because you think another color looks better? Got it. And I'm the crazy one.
