Like you've never heard someone say a substance is horse piss. Did you ask how they knew? But knowing how you hogs like to roll around in your own feces, I would have thought you would avoid this topic.

Sure, I've heard and used the phrase tastes like horse piss, but you were awful specific about which horses piss it tastes like.

I've always tried to eat and drink the best available. I just figured that the greatest horse of all time would be the best of an awful thing. Was I wrong?

No one knew about it before. no one cared. and then sending a can to this chick with her face on it was apparently enough to nuke 25% of their sales? I would get it if they had branded all of their cans that way. But the company made one novelty can, sent that one novelty can to an on line influencer, so it wasn't even getting on TV; and that's enough for people who liked BL to boycott BL?

the level of outrage really doesn't match the act. I mean I am not arguing for people to stop, or to go back to drinking BL, but dang they got all Karen real fast.
Wouldn’t have been near as bad of the VP’s pod had not come to light.

With all the great craft beers out there now, I got one of those pressurized growler set ups. Holds 1.5 liter under pressure and lets me just go by the Casual Pint to grab whatever sounds good. The 21st century has some really great stuff.

Is coors not an AB product? I’m pretty sure when I worked in a bar 15 years ago or so they distributed it and most of your majors brands. Then Miller would distribute their product and most of our smaller brews

Either Miller bough Coors or the other way around. I think Molson is involved but IDK for sure.

Molson Coors also owns Miller, Blue Moon, Terrapin, Topo Chico, Sol, and like 50 other brands. Their stock was up around 25% from a month ago last I checked.

There’s always this weird desire from many to pretend the fight is “just as bad as the left on cancel culture”. If a brand that mainly had left wing customers were to send a product to Matt Walsh with his face on it, 25% decline would be best case scenario.

It’s about more than this specific act. It’s about years of left wing cultural pressure that has to be countered by the right unless we wish to continue losing. It’s why we have to focus on the companies we use. Because the opposition does it and because they do it, they’re continuing to win the culture. As the culture goes, so do the politics. I’m totally open to the idea of neutrality, but businesses are not attempting to be politically neutral nor does the left allow neutrality.
 
It continues to amaze me how the left plays this disingenuous game. You’ll hear things from the left about how few people are trans and how much attention is devoted to the topic. Yet they’re the ones promoting this, forcing companies to promote it, hiring trans cleptos and other high profile trans government officials, doing drag Queen story time, promoting books in elementary libraries with depictions of gay sex, etc

And then when you notice it’s always the same weak game. “Why are you even paying attention to that? Why do you care”. The answer is because culture shapes politics

On my first deployment to Misawa Japan in the late 70's, they still had absinthe with low levels of the narcotic. Some of the enlisted kids went wild.

When you came through the main gate there was a long open field you crossed to get to the BEQ. For the first month of deployment, until we got it under control, the Squadron Duty Officer and the duty driver would make hourly runs through the field from 10 to 2. When we'd find one of the 18 year olds passed out face down in the field, we'd pick them up, throw them into the truck bed and go drop them off at the base ER.

How did we get it under control? Evidently that stuff would give you the worst hangover of all time (particularly headaches I was told), so we made the start of duty shifts in the morning rather "active." And since we were on deployment the work week was 7 days, so they couldn't escape it.

The alcohol industry is a three tier model. Producers cannot distribute or retail. Distributors cannot produce or retail. And retailers cannot produce or distribute.

Distributors will normally have the rights to distribute multiple brands and / or labels. They are also the ones who make the lion’s share of the profit.

They should kill the brand "Bud Lite". Then come back in with a better product in time for Super Bowl 2024 with a big ad blitz. Maybe get out of the "Lite Beer" business all together and just go in the opposite direction. Maybe offer a heavier/more flavorful "beer".

no way - it still generates huge revenue and they have so many ancillary brands tied to it like seltzers

some of the sales will come back and it will still outsell Bud Heavy, Busch, Busch Light, Natty, Ultra and on and on.

yeah except all those other beer companies also have plenty of "pride" moments too. Unless people are switching over to Saudi (lol) or Russian beer/alcohol they aren't really taking that much of stance on the cultural war. There have been multiple videos about this.

all those other companies now profiting from AB's suffering is just as woke as AB. they just didn't have this particular trigger, which is why I am trying to figure out why this one specific event is so key.
