It's nice thought that PF would have remained winning as HC but sadly that was not the case. The program had fallen into disrepair in recruiting. Just see what Kiffin had to cobble together to put an offense on the field, two walkons on the OL for instance.
It has said UT dumped on Martin quite a bit too after winning a NC when Peyton the "Golden Child" didn't. Don't get me wrong at all. I love Peyton. But, he never won a NC and didn't help get Trevor Lawrence here. He doesn't seem to be helping to get any QB's here. How is that not possible? I know there is a fine line with recruiting violations on this. But, you would think former players could come work with players once they get on campus. Are they allowed?
Umm Peyton does. Manning does a lot for UT. What has Tee doneIt has said UT dumped on Martin quite a bit too after winning a NC when Peyton the "Golden Child" didn't. Don't get me wrong at all. Stop making it sound like Tee was some great QB that led the 1998 team. His numbers were average to below average. We all know what led to the UT NC. It was the defense.
No, we kept Pittman, who was really the only one that we wanted in the hire to begin with. Coley was our OC. Chaney just ate all of the food in the pressbox.

You lost me at "But I digress" .lol so enlighten us how long he was at Ark...the answer is 2 years. His 1st year they went BACKWARDS to a whopping 20 ppg. How could he NOT improve on that? He also took UGA backwards to 24 ppg. Once again, how could he not improve on that?
But I digress, this isn't even what I was debating, in case you can follow the logic of an argument. I am saying his offenses ranked decently back in the late 90s and mid 2000s. Not so much these days unless he is granted crazy levels of talent. Even then, he can't crack the top 13 offenses. Why can't he match his talent level with points? UGA is 3rd in talent. It's a serious concern.
I swear to heaven UGA idiots never fail to amuse me. Ok, sport. You never wanted him. Oldest UGA passive aggressive BS in the world.
Yes. UGA fans are annoying idiots. Thank you for supporting that argument. Now, go sniff butts on some dawg board.
Yes, but just a minority of the fanbase. Now that he’s bailing though they are trying to flip the narrative. Such is life I guess.
Georgia didn’t want him anymore?
Then why the heck did they offer him a raise to stay?
Fans vs coaches. The raise would suggest they wanted. The fact that theu didn't match suggests they had limits to how much they cared.
Fans are split imo. A lot of "wow..." and "what is happening?" posts, but certainly not a meltdown and some are quite happy and want someone that is creative.
