'24 Vols Transfer Offers

Totally but those teams I mentioned aren’t on Bama and UGA’s level.

I just don't think you can count on that. Rosters will change. Why I say August.

Now Vandagriff and Nico are the same to me. Both five star players but inexperienced. It's a decent debate at this point which has the best complement of players.

Originally thought we'd go for 10-12. We are in legit roster trouble with the imbalances caused by the disasters that were the '20 and '21 classes.

However, with the number that are coming back, and not hearing of Sophomores being processed.... I don't know how we even make the numbers work to take more than 3-4, and 2 of them will definitely be TEs.

We are going to need a lot of production from under classman in the secondary and on the offensive line if this continues ... and I don't know how to feel about that.

I predicted yesterday, won't take as many portal as last cycle when they took eight.

I also don't see them losing 16 to the portal. Be several less.

They are working hard to convince seniors to return

And Oklahoma as well. Gabriel is in portal. So they’ll be starting Jackson Arnold, an inexperienced 5*

May only take 1 TE. But yeah I don’t see big numbers coming from the portal due to roster spots

Barring an injury to Nico….

Chattanooga, Kent St, Vandy, MS St, UTEP, Arkansas are all wins.

That’s 6.

That leaves Bama, UGA, OK, UK, FL, and NC St.

UGA & Bama will be stacked like always.

OK lost their starting QB.

UK will start a guy with 21 career attempts.

FL who knows but it’s in Neyland.

NC St MJ Morris threw 7 td and 5 INT last season.

Just seems like you’re only taking into consideration Vols roster and QB situation.

Didn't predict. Speculated.

Breaking in new QB but if they can convince a ton of seniors back, would help a ton to match 8.

The more new bodies they have to play, the less likely they are more successful. Jmo

I think people still don’t get what kind of talent Nico is. Fair enough to be skeptical though. 10-2 is the floor next year.

It is not a stretch... Tennessee could easily lose these five games next year:

NC State (In Charlotte)
at Oklahoma
Florida
Bama
@ Georgia

In fact, we will likely only be favored in two of those games listed above. If Nico is not what people expect him today be, then all five of those games could be losses.

NC Sate 0% chance we lose. Yes. 0.

@ Oklahoma. Harder on paper than what I think the actual game will be. They’re losing their QB and CJH will be hyper focused on that one. Sure, Nico’s first true road start and it’s a tough environment but Nico won’t be phased.

Florida. Eh. Voodoo curse but I think it being at home, we’ve gotten over that hump.

Bama. Always will be tough. Toss up.

@UGA. Yeah that will be tough to pull out in Athens.

I count UGA as a loss and expect to split the OU and Bama games.

I certainly don't. But I don't buy into any player in any conference until they have shown what they can do against the competition.

UCLA felt Dante Moore, 5 star, was the answer and gave him a try this year. Now he is headed elsewhere. I'm sure many felt he was the guy this summer.

7-5 is my bet (without injuries). If injuries are like this year and/or Nico goes down then I could even see 6-6.

Threw him in before he was ready. Heupel didn’t cave to the fans wish a throw Nico into the fire . He’s gonna be special AT UT!

Moore will be like Nixx, penix, Daniel’s and be “the guy” somewhere else.

Cainer said on the Locked on Vols podcast that he expects some good news probably tonight, but if not tonight tomorrow. He said it like 3 times so he must know something.

It's been a rough day, but it sounds like we have something good to look forward to.
It wasn’t the Pili news was it?
