So here's why Biden said war is coming yesterday. From Putin's written response...

Russia on Thursday warned it could be "forced to respond" militarily if the US doesn't agree to its demands for binding security guarantees, including permanently barring Ukraine and Georgia from NATO. The US has repeatedly made it clear that this demand is a non-starter.

"In the absence of the readiness of the American side to agree on firm, legally binding guarantees of ensuring our security by the United States and its allies, Russia will be forced to respond, including through the implementation of military-technical measures," the Kremlin said on Thursday in an 11-page response to written proposals submitted by the US in late January on Moscow's security demands."

Well that would be one conclusion. Another is that the action by the White House was effective and actually stopped Russia.

My post is correct. Trump scheduled the withdrawal for May 1st. It got pushed off a couple months. All Biden's fault... for everything... that ever happened... that was bad at least.

Lol. I hate on Trump all the time. I blame him for pushing it back to 2021, it was his RGB moment. He was over confident in an election win and it bit Americans in the butt. Biden had a date to start, pushed it back, to 9/11 originally. Probably figured out the optics werent great and then pulled it forward, but still after the May date. And then fumbled the evacuation, that fumble is on him. He gets credit for getting us out, something Trump didnt do, but there is no way to say Biden didnt mess up the evac.

If you want to blame Trump for not getting us out sooner I would say he shares his 4 years with 8 years of blame with Obama, and about 7 with Bush.

So Biden did better than the three previous, including Trumo, on getting us out finally. But he shoulders all the blame for how it went. Our allies didnt even know ahead of time. That's a bad look. And it was Biden who the English Parliament voted to condemn, so it's not like this is some red hat rage only event.

It was amazing. That Ukraine president got elected after running on a pro West platform. Promises he is going to get closer ties to the west. Then day comes to sign up with the west and suddenly he is giving Russia concessions. And Ras thinks it must have been a CIA plot with Nulands cookies to overthrow the guy who broke the promise he ran on.

Lets assume the poll is real. From the outside looking in, would Ukraine be better served joining with the dysfunctional EU and NATO or just doing nothing? Lets not even offer turning to Russia as an option.
