War in Ukraine

I assume many of them would take advantage of the GI Bill to go to college or learn a trade. I hope they get good advice on the way out regarding skills that are in demand.
Many have already learned a trade and gained valuable skills during their time in the service. They should have every opportunity to use them when they get out.

How would you ensure troops are properly employed once they get out? Are you suggesting the government tell private businesses who they must hire?
Many recruiters and companies are ignorant when it comes to the valuable skills that many members of our military learn while they are serving. No reason for most to have to start over or go into a completely different field when they get out.

So it looks like Canada is going to send the turbine to Germany for Nordstream 1. But some interesting commentary by this guy. Germany is going to have to s^^t or get off the pot at some point, and in order to save their economy, they can’t continue with this sanction nonsense and be belligerent with Russia.

Tell that to infantry, helo gunners, arty, tank drivers, etc. A lot of military jobs don't translate well to the civilian world.

That is true. In those cases they sell their sense of loyalty, their discipline and their task oriented capabilities.

Real good point on making sure they get good career and education advice. The ITT schools which were pushed hard as a valid for profit option to military people in the 90's and early 2000's were nothing short of ripoffs and cost a lot of people their benefits.

Did I say anything about those jobs? Plus what makes you think that's the biggest percentage of military jobs? It's actually much smaller in comparison to other jobs in the military.

Once again this is an example of pure ignorance from people who didn't serve who are applying stereotypes to our service members on what they can actually do.

The question is raised... is Russia taking an "operational pause" or have their troops finally culminated?

One thing's for sure: HIMARS have been a gamechanger, and Russian forces will have their logistics capabilities tested bigly moving forward.

So many ammo dumps, so little time...

We shouldn't want any human being to be in harms way.

"We" are not.

Your boy Putin made that choice and continues to do so. "We" are helping David stand up against Goliath by supplying him with enough slingshots and stones without having to risk American sons and daughters.

Comparing our involvement in Ukraine with Vietnam was dumb af.

I'd love to see the demographics of the "likely voters" that were polled and perhaps it's an equal representation of the cross section of American voters. You know, there have many polls on this subject - I think it's fascinating that you waited to post one that finally agrees with your narrative. I also find it fascinating that polls are back on the menu after they were relentlessly mocked for years after the 2016 general election.

Of course you did, I'd wager probably the first time you'd ever even seen Rasmussen referenced on OAN.

You're confusing panties with mockery; this appears to be a scenario you've been associated with before.

Oh I have been mocked many times in my life..

You on the other hand have this arrogant bravado and superiority complex that is very unappealing. Hope you are not like this in person.
