Lol, facts my arse. How was the attack on Pearl Harbor going to lift the embargo? How did attacking the Phillipines, wake and Guam lift the oil embargo. What a dumb argument.


We were the two powers of the Pacific. They knew they couldnt win a straight up fight, and they wanted our territory, so they sucker punched us. Might have been a sucker punch we were expecting but it was still a sucker punch.

Should we have kept trading with Hitler? He needed oil too. Maybe just the Italians since they were just the incompetent idiots running around the Mediterranean? Just because we CHOSE not to trade with bad actors doesnt excuse their attacks. That's the worst justification ever. Not trading is not equivalent at all to an attack.

USA wont trade with Japan, because the US doesnt like what Japan is doing. Instead of improving relations or stopping their bad acts, the Japanese, in a brilliant effort to win over American hearts and minds, attacks multiple American military assets.

If that is your idea of diplomacy it's no wonder you simp for Putin.

An embargo is not a blockade. The US chose not to trade with Japan for oil. We traded other stuff. We did not stop their shipping through the Panama Canal or anywhere else until we are attacked. We did not blockade their ports, seize their shipping, or refuse docking to anyone trading with them.

How fricking dumb is the argument that we have trade specific strategic goods to a warring nation or else it means war. By your argument the US refusing to trade weapons to Ulraine right now would be a cause for Ukraine to declare on the US. Dumb dumb dumb. If russia decides not to sell oil to Europe, is that just/good/moral cause for Europe to attack Russia. Where does it say that everyone has to trade with everyone exactly what they need at all times despite bad actions or else the offended party is right to attack.

Dumb, inconsistent, illogical.

Like either party supported civil rights back then. Selective outrage there. The Dems have made up for it, Repubs are now the bastion of white supremacy.

You can't deny it. Are you going to try to say a white supremacist would vote Democratic these days? No, but they love Trump. All the voting laws adopted in the South since 2020 are all aimed at depressing the black vote. Regardless of the fact they have yet to find any systemic fraud, except by Repubs like the guy in NC who was a paid consultant by a Republican candidate and filed fake absentee ballots..

Yes a white supremacist would vote Democrat. Richard Spencer voted for Biden. And has openly supported his presidency since day one. But your party nominated a known racist who was mentored by the likes of segregationist dixiecrats like Robert Byrd and James Eastland. So it's no surprise why he supported Biden.

Now Hispanic support for your president is low and your guy is also losing support among African Americans.

These claims of racism you guys push are old. And it's not racist to ask someone to show an ID to vote. Just like it's not racist to ask someone to show ID when they buy a pack of cigarettes or a six pack of beer.
