War in Ukraine

They aren't dragging it out but time is on their side. Strategically Russia has done quite well and continues to achieve their goals in this operation.
What? Removing the nazi's, overthrowing the government and leaving the civilians at peace? Cause I got some bad news for you.

What strategic goals has russia stated? What have they took since the first month?

Have to wonder if China has thought “this is our brother in arms? This drunk, feeble, weak bitch?”
I'm sure they have. Russia suffers from small peen syndrome and Westernphobia. They want to be like the West but their historical policies sidelined them long, long, long ago. Now they exclusively associate with 2nd and 3rd world countries. When you slum it up like Russia has historically, you ain't ever going to be the best or like the West which they desperately want without actually admitting to it.

Every Russian wishes they had what all other 1st world Western countries have. Every single one.

I think are fellow Russian trolls here think their schtick is working because Russia is so bad at doing everything they actually have no real frame of reference of what is believable to the civilized world.

Example of Russian incompetence: Russian navy continually getting wrecked by a country with no real Navy

We shouldnt be so quick to rush to judgement. Its probably just a realistic training scenario for the Russian Navy to practice what to do when getting sunk by the West. All part of Putins excellent Ukraine war strategy!

Don't know if it's true, but ...

100,000 North Korean soldiers could be sent to bolster Putin’s forces fighting Ukraine

https://www.dailytelegraph.com.au/n...e/news-story/1126782c8c5e6fe08a8ad2d9fa38dff0

“The country is ready to transfer up to 100,000 of its soldiers to Donbas,” said the report by the pro-Kremlin news agency.

“Pyongyang will be able to transfer its tactical units to Donbas.”

In return, grain and energy would be supplied to Kim’s stricken economy.

I don't see this happening at all.

But the offer is a good look for Putin...

A defense expert on Russian TV admitting that Putin needs help from Kim. Interesting.

A leading defence expert in Moscow, reserve colonel Igor Korotchenko, told state TV: “We shouldn’t be shy in accepting the hand extended to us by Kim Jong-un.”

That’s how far that trash second rate country has fallen. Needing military assistance from Rocket Man. 😂

If NK sent 100K troops to Ukraine at least 25k of them would desert.

This would be an interesting escalation. What would the peace loving @Rasputin_Vol , @DonjoVol and @volgr say?

Russia is desperate for troops. Obviously, such escalation would be bad. WW3 kind of scenario.

We did justify the Iraq War, lol.

As far as corruption, Russia is trending less corrupt and Ukraine is trending more corrupt. Russia has it's problems, no doubt, but it isn't more corrupt than Ukraine.

Russia isn't my team but I do support their liberation efforts in Ukraine. As I said from the beginning, this war was completely unnecessary if Ukraine wasn't governed by a corrupt regime. This is what they wanted, however.

@volgr has been hanged on her own petard...

She claims that she doesn't support Ukraine because it is "corrupt". Yet, she says the Iraq war was justified.

Yet, Iraq is a *more* corrupt country than Ukraine.

Further, contrary to @volgr's claims, Russia is, in fact, more corrupt than Ukraine.

Net/Net: @volgr is a Putin-pumping hypocrite.
