War in Ukraine

How would a larger Ukraine military be bad for Russia? They have plenty of crap, apparently, and nukes.

Well, for the reasons you already gave, Russian wouldn't be able to stop them from joining Nato and acquiring nukes. All you guys said Russia's military sucks, Putin agrees.

Why are we going over the same thing 1000 times? LOL

You guys are getting mad at me because you agree with Putin, that is the gist of it... you can try and frame it another way.

Yeah....Two generations of white people left is right up there with 12 years till the polar ice caps flood us all.

To be honest, as dumb as some of the white people have become (as evidence on the board).... not sure how they put on their pants today. Dumb as rocks.

Not sure how this applies to my comment. But ok.

To be honest, you're just going around and around anyway.

Maybe relax, none of this is going to be solved today, probably not this month or this year, really even next year looks suspect.

Enjoy the fireworks.

Uh. This is exactly what I said. This war will drag on and on.
You were the one saying Ukraine is already half a parking lot and the west should just give up.

Oh, yeah, meaning nothing will really matter than just turning it into a parking lot. The Russians are in no rush at this stage, as Germany is on deck. They will keep shoveling crap in to keep the fire going.

Ukraine is just a place to bomb at this point, get the west to stick more money in it... that goes out the back door. Its the American way.

So what if the Ukraine is turned into a parking lot? You seem upset for some reason, but I don't know the why of the anger.

Anger?

No extra caps. No exclamation points. No name calling. No double/triple posts. You havent even raised my heartbeat, nor does Russia vs Ukraine. Deflect some more please.

Well you certainly are involved in the name calling discussion. LOL I mean you going around and around, you seem kind of upset.

Basically, you are not getting out of me what you want to hear. I get that, but the truth of the matter its not going to change anything anyway.

Probably...
- russia will continue the fire in the ukraine
- there is no real win for the ukraine
- this is leading to significant economy conditions in Germany/Europe
- russia will see how that progresses over time
- all of this seems to be leading the world to reset...potentially

Like I said, so what if they turn it into a parking lot? Let'em fight. Its not really are business, I mean for discussion its okay... but that is about it.

Not sure if Politico is considered MSM by our Russian leaning friends here, so *cough* apologies in advance:

Ukraine has ‘good chance’ to retake territory, U.S. assesses
Great quote from the article that should have our stooges screeching

The conflict has offered the U.S. the rare opportunity to assess the HIMARS capability, and that of Russian defenses in action, one of the DoD officials said. U.S. officials are “a little surprised” at how well the HIMARS is performing — and by how poorly Russian defensive capabilities have fared against the attacks, the person said

"the world to reset"...

Care to explain what that means? Reset like nuclear winter wipes out 99% of the population? Or reset like Russia is finally the superpower they have only ever pretended to be?
neither will happen

@volgr hey Larry you’ve been really concerned about when the Kherson counter offensive was starting so PSA it looks like it has. Don’t worry though TASS has already reported that they have repelled the attack. However sadly for you at least it would appear that announcement is a tad premature right now from other reporting.

You’re welcome!

Credit market collapse which could be the result of an Europe economic collapse, limited tactical nuclear usage.... or simply China withdrawing from the Federal Reserve System. Heck, at this point it looks like the nutjobs in charge of the US want to reset. Everything is leading that direction, I mean you had Paulson on the floor begging Pelosi back 2008 for a reason right?

Hank Paulson: Kneeling Before Pelosi
The man who ran Goldman and was once compared to God is brought low, in a way.

Funny as hell.

Neither will happen and Germany won't be paying 10x the amount of energy in year, never mind on the second one. LOL

Did you go long energy in Germany? Why not?

So, Europe can't collapse, was 1929-1945 a figment of my imagination? (for the record, I didn't exist in 45) I am assuming the history books weren't fiction on this subject. I guess ancient Rome didn't collapse either.

- Russia won't invade Ukraine
- Germany is energy independent because of wind mills
- Russia will be broke in a month
- Russia sanctions will crush them
- The whole world will isolate Russia
- Russia has no options but to sell oil/gas to Germany
- Polish people would never be in line to get coal again
- Germans won't ever have to cut firewood for heat
- Germany will never restart their coal mines
- Russia military will go after Putin

Does any of this ever get old?

You guys should consider relaxing, this probably won't work itself out for quite awhile.

For the record, I think things will cool down globally a bit heading into the end of year for energy, I would consider seeing if Germany continues the trend up or not over the next month or so.

There are no givens, I have no idea how an modern economy works at $1-2 KwH (if prices in Germany continue).
