Its the wrong question, whether you win a given battle is meaningless. You don't fight the enemy to their strengths but to their weakness. Its a very subjective word "win" when it comes to war, I would say generally the United States has looked foolish at best. The middle east was a disaster and remains a disaster because of the United States actions.
At the end of the day, a bunch of cave dwellers ran the remaining U.S. soldiers out of Afghanistan at the airport basically like or even worse than Vietnam. All those people in Afghanistan were our friends.
This hasn't really ended well for 50+ years.
They didn't run us out. We could have stayed there for 100 years and there wouldn't have been a damn thing that they could done about it. We left willingly and we left poorly.
Lol!Ramzan Kadyrov on Telegram...
Chronicles of the liberation of Severodonetsk (LNR).
Completely imperturbable faces even in the thick of hostilities. These shots show the everyday life of the soldiers of the allied forces. Friendly conversations, sparkling humor and, of course, the implementation of operational tasks to clean up critical areas. The spirit of our guys under any circumstances is at the highest level.
⠀
The soldiers of the special forces "Akhmat", together with the second corps of the people's militia of the LPR, literally walked through the firing positions of the enemy with a skating rink.
There is another interesting fact: Bandera realize their uselessness in this world only in a head-on collision with our soldiers. It is not necessary to conduct chaotic fire from artillery of great intelligence and courage. But with direct contact, they get such a beating that they crawl away like a snake, throwing Western weapons begged with such difficulty.
⠀
This is how the Luhansk People's Republic was cleared of fascist wreckers. In the same way, the entire Donbass will be liberated, and if there is an order, then Kyiv. And that's all you need to know about the mood of our fighters.
"We could have stayed there for 100 years but we didn't want to. "
There is a Seinfeld episode on that stupidity.
"I could do it (build levels), I don't want to."
Seinfeld - The bet between Jerry and Kramer
In theory anyone "could do it". It was worse than Vietnam in total costs, just complete nonsense of military action with zero chance of accomplishing anything of value. Rinse and repeat in the Ukraine.
No real objective was accomplished, unless the objective was line the defense industry with money... and give terrorist organization modern U.S. equipment.

You said that they ran us out, I said that they had no capability to do so. Doesn't mean that I though we should have stayed 100 years, but we could have and wouldn't have been able to do shiz about it. The way to really win a war against people like that is to truly make them fear you. Kill everyone who finances them, kill everyone who supports them and gives them aid whatsoever. If a village accepts Taliban fighters, then level it without discrimination. After a period of time with examples like this you seed a feeling of survival to the supporters, and hopelessness to the fighters. You'll never make them your friends.
Reset seems to be synonymous with depopulation which implies a lot more war and famine to decimate the billions."the world to reset"...
Care to explain what that means? Reset like nuclear winter wipes out 99% of the population? Or reset like Russia is finally the superpower they have only ever pretended to be?
neither will happen
Reset seems to be synonymous with depopulation which implies a lot more war and famine to decimate the billions.
Yeah good thing we have such competent leadership in DC, Paris, Bonn and Brussels. Not.Some naively believe you can have a reset of the credit, legal or social portions of the world without impacting real life. That is the most dangerous of people.
Any reset of the global credit system (meaning great impact of the federal reserve system/reserve currency) would probably including depopulation on a massive scale. This isn't 1930, when local farming was done with families with limited or no equipment. Between that and globalization/just in time process... there is no way to feed 7+ billion without a functioning system. Once credit goes pufff, well, welcome to mad max.
China wouldn't be worried about Taiwan, they would be worried about how to keep the lights on and the masses of people from coming into the building. Same with every country.
All of this appears to be heading to reset, whether that is people desiring it or making stupid decision that makes it more likely.
Yeah good thing we have such competent leadership in DC, Paris, Bonn and Brussels. Not.
Prophetic irony? You guys should consider relaxing, this probably won't work itself out for quite awhile.
For the record, I think things will cool down globally a bit heading into the end of year for energy, I would consider seeing if Germany continues the trend up or not over the next month or so.
There are no givens, I have no idea how an modern economy works at $1-2 KwH (if prices in Germany continue).
Yes they did, as they did it. The United States couldn't stomach the fight and occupation. The fight ends when all parties say it ends. That is modern warfare, suck the stupid dirty white infidels into an unwinnable war, extract as much resources and money from them, eventually they leave as losers they are as they shouldn't have been there to start with.
The United States has a printing press, until the day it stops.... they can fund unwinnable wars. When that day comes, the unwinnable wars won't be easy to stomach.
It was always Osama's plan to trap the dirty infidels in a series of unwinnable wars.
How America Made Osama Bin Laden’s Dream Come True
A couple of dozen camel riders and probably a few $100,000s, caused the U.S. to spend $1-2t+. That's one hell of a bang for the buck.
Estimates Afghanistan 2001-2022
We didn’t just fight taliban. We were fighting whites too. I wonder who those were. Any guesses?Look, perpetual war is stupid and a lot of politicians love it. We all know that. You act like the Taliban defeated us on the battlefield. They never in any way, shape of form did. There not good enough to and never will be.
I was there at Neyland for the Wyoming game in 2008 and the UAB game in 2010. People remember how the Wyoming game went. If not for 5 missed field goals by UAB's kicker we would have lost that one too. Hopefully Heupel and company can turn things around.Great example of Tennessee football
No reason it should have got the bottom it reached.
Tennessee lost to Georgia State in Neyland Stadium.
