Actually I am making fun of Dallas since he said Rand provides documented sources and a bibliography therefore automatically making them a reliable source.

You dont know how the soviet union worked. The USSR was a collection of alledgely indepent republics/soviets that choose to work together. Sorta like the UK, or pre Civil War US. Ukraine still existed. It still had borders, under the Soviets. It was the Ukrainian SSR. The russians were still moving into Ukraine. Just like our states here they were Soviets and Russian/Ukrainian/whatever, just like I am American and now a Georgian even though I grew up in Tennessee. If you asked the Soviets about ethnic Russians with an established Ukrainian address the soviets would have said they were citizens of the Ukrainian SSR.

I love how you use partial understandings to make bs arguments hoping that no one actually knows how things worked. You complain about dumb Americans not knowing their history after you do a skin deep dive into whatever you want to rant about.

That was also one of the main tenants of communism, race and ethnicity didnt matter, you were a citizen of whatever Soviet you happened to live in regardless of your history. That was a major difference from the monarchical Europeans but similar to the way US citizenship worked, but even more rounding of differences than we did.

Founded by Lenin? You mean Lenin killed millions of Ukrainians during the civil war and moved people around afterwards to reshape Ukraine as he saw fit. And then had to recognize them as their own Soviet to keep the Blacks in line and aiding the Reds in the civil war at critical moments when the Whites were pushing.
