Not sure if SIU is just incapable of making coherent arguments, or if he’s just trying to defend a position for which there are no coherent arguments.
There is no argument.
Its observation. The irony of your post. There is no defense, not really, I see the logic of it and of course it works which is why you got all the balking about. But at the end of the day, I don't have to agree with them... its all immaterial.
Me: Its day time out because the sun is overhead.

We don't like the day time, so that doesn't make sense.
Me: Whether you like the day time or want to call the day time... night time is immaterial. Its still day time.
Your post is the problem... .you are wanting to fight with people i.e. argument. 95%of what I post is pure observation, although I do offer a viewpoint here and there. Whether we have slightly different meanings or definition of things isn't going to change anything.
At the end of the day, most of the people are crying over the strategy.... whether you or I or anyone else likes, agrees, disagrees, etc with the strategy - is immaterial.
None of this is complex, unless one wants to argue for no reason i.e. argument.
