Idk it seems like you think I’m arguing all this out of weakness. I’m just pointing out that if you’re going to say things like that, then you have some things to account for. I know it’s a message board so that doesn’t seem true thanks to the anonymity that’s provided. You’re not going to see me saying things that would require people to go do some scrying in another thread to determine whether or not I’m a dick.

You’re of course free to act anyway you want just like everyone else here as long as your don’t overly irritate “them”. I was trying to expand your perspective is all. You are of course free to take the advice or leave it just like the other I’ve offered.

Because Russia is fighting a proxy war with the West and there is no way to know how this will end. They are covering their bases. Those being called up to go to Ukraine are reserves, not conscripts.



Like I said above, conscripts will be trained in the coming months in case this blossoms into something much bigger. They aren't being sent to Ukraine, atleast not as a fighting force, maybe as peacekeepers in Russian held areas. Russia has plenty of trained troops and reserves to call on.

The number I have always seen is 150k Russians vs 500k Ukrainians. It was always something yall celebrated. Now apparently there js 120k militia in that, from the Dontesk region. That is the exact opposite ratio I have heard. 120k Russians with 30k militia. And oh yeah that 120k would be a whopping 12% of their total population. Even the 30k is an unbelievable number.

FWIW the American army, including militias, during the revolution made up .5% of the total population, and that was a very high participation rate.

This doesnt even begin to pass the smell test. This is pure weapons grade Copium.

Because that is exactly what is being said in this thread. Ukraine should just role over and take it to save lives. We are making it worse by giving them the ability to defend themselves. You are right, it's disgusting, and it has to be pointed out how bad that argument is when it comes to Ukraine. Maybe now that it hits a little closer to home you wont be so quick to dismiss a people wanting to defend themselves no matter what it costs them.

one of the reasons putin rejected the breakaways being annexed before is because he could get away with doing a lot of **** there that isnt legal in russia. like executions, and conscripts being sent to the front.

Ask Putin. He is the one that flipped his lid.
Why did Yanukovich say for months he was going to sign a treaty with the west, and then within days of signing, he drops it, and signs a brand new, non discussed deal, with Russia. The timeline just doesnt add up for you.


Going back on his pro Western word didnt play well with the locals. Just like in the war, Putin completely missed on how much support for Russia there was in Ukraine back in 2014.

They were discussing regime change because there was a color revolution going on.....

might want to look at that Nazi parties current standing before assuming they were involved in the coul. 2012 they held 37 Parliamentary seats, today they hold 1.
