At the end of the day government are in charge via force, force is always fearful when you go against the wishes of the State. It doesn't matter where the hell you live.

The government in the US is in charge based on authority. That authority comes from a much different place than it does in Russia.
Authority in Russia historically comes from force/fear, and that carries over into the modern era. The younger generations are much bolder, but the older generations remember. They are very much aware of all the "accidents" happening to prominent dissenters across Russia.
When you called that Russia would stupidly claim they were fighting NATO directly I thought it was too far fetched even for all the propagandist morons. But you were right! Links were provided of the idiot shills saying just that on Russian state TV!This is an old thread and I haven't been in it long enough to be in the running
He won the election fair and square. He should have been allowed to serve his term and develop relationships with Russia and the West like he desired.I didnt start when Russia bought him off?
I think that invalidates any election. Especially when it's the people that voted for him, and the government that ran him off.
Have you not listened to the phone conversation? They were specifically talking about regime change.A phone call between the state department and an ambassador proves a coup?
Holy cow are you reaching. There are dozens if not hundreds of coups going on everyday with that level of evidence.
There was a populist uprising, why shouldnt there be phone calls?
It’s just a characteristic of how we go at each other here. It takes some thick skin and calm nerves. Realize that when you see someone sounding angry or outraged that’s a regular here more than likely they are laughing as they typed the post your inferring their tone from. I’m talking mostly about the highly charged threads like this one.Maybe so. I can’t imagine advocating that ruthlessness is a positive character trait.
The political opposition was looking to remove him from day 1 that he was in office. Just like the democrat party was doing with Trump.Ask the Ukrainian parliament that removed him Curly.
There was no coup so there is nothing to acknowledge. I did find it interesting that on the day parliament removed the asshat his primary political rival was released from prison on a farcical 7 year political sentence. That along with so many other actual facts never seems to make your stooge talking points sheet CurlyThe political opposition was looking to remove him from day 1 that he was in office. Just like the democrat party was doing with Trump.
You still fail to acknowledge the U.S. involvement in the coup. The U.S. didn't want Yanukovych in power so Ukraine was just doing what their bosses in the U.S. were telling them to do.
I've done a lot of reading from **** coming out of ukraine and russia, going back years. the rhetoric coming out of russia leading up to this is a major reason I'm dead set against Putin on this. After everything back in 2013/14 I was pretty casually of the mindset that america was the main driver of tensions and thought it was ridiculous that Putin would invade. As soon as it kicked off my initial reaction was WTF is he doing, hes going to ruin russia! Reading the rhetoric from Ukraine made me think at least in part that Ukrainr has been waiting for this, hoping for their chance to bloody Russia's nose and severe ties. Reading russian rhetoric made me go stone cold. Its insane. Russians have let jabbering zealots take complete control of their government. The russian Orthodox clergy and Putin are on some messianic death kick. Hallmark persecution complex of all religious radicals, bigotry, foaming at the mouth hate. Almost all the (however few you think they may be) commendable ideals of the soviets are gone and all thats left is the cynicism, hallucinatory madness and barbarism that defined the kgbWhen you called that Russia would stupidly claim they were fighting NATO directly I thought it was too far fetched even for all the propagandist morons. But you were right! Links were provided of the idiot shills saying just that on Russian state TV!
Well forgive me but if the thread being highly charged or whatever causes you to describe someone’s family being raped and you being ok with it then I’d say you’re the one with thin skin and no nerves. Ok looks like you chose to leave the advice. Buckle up would be my next advice to take or leaveWell forgive me but if the thread being highly charged or whatever causes you to describe someone’s family being raped and you being ok with it then I’d say you’re the one with thin skin and no nerves. Oh right when he said bend over he meant to pick up a pencil or something.Ok looks like you chose to leave the advice. Buckle up would be my next advice to take or leave
Oh and also going back and reading the exchange I think you’re over reacting on what Louder typed vs what you inferred. Louder is one of the least attack mode regulars here and I just don’t see what your claiming in his post.
