War in Ukraine

Because the Russians are losing territory fast. Not that they won't be able to dig in and save a sliver here or there, but you have to admit that it isn't going well for them.

As long as the Ukraine gets destroyed, that is all that matters to all parties. With an added bonus of checkmate by the United States on Europe. Quite the fine touch I do say so myself.

I'm not sure if you are being serious or facetious. This Ukraine situation has caused some of you people to take nuclear anniahilation less serious than is necessary. You had clowns in a studio audience clapping and cheering that idiot Liz Truss talking about being ready and willing to set off nukes.
dark humor

If the war is going so well for the ruskies why all the talk/threats of tactical nukes? Shouldn't need them if the 3 day war is proceeding as planned.

The Afghans fought and won the 3 day war over 20 years. If large amounts of forces wish to fight, it could go on for some time. The war is more or less over, just a matter of how many die and how much gets destroyed i.e. moot to the rest of the world.

Russia has signed a UN treaty aimed at preventing children under the age of 18 from taking direct part in hostilities.

Using children under the age of 15 to participate in hostilities is considered a war crime by the International Criminal Court, however Russia does not recognise its jurisdiction.

Shocking Letter Reveals UK Blackout Fear As NatGas Supplies Could Be Cut In "Emergency"

Blas concluded: "Maybe, maybe, maybe... it's time for the UK government to seriously get a grip with the energy crisis, and start a public campaign for energy savings, before it is too late."

Still not really addressing the problem. Its fine to consume less but modern societies run off of cheap energy. Now you are paying 5-10 times the price but you are still not securing future long-term supply.

I guess you can take... we'll go back to living in caves approach. Starvation is a huge incentive.

Why would anyone in the west entertain the use of nukes? Russia is the one losing badly against a supposedly inferior opponent.
Well first off, Russia isn't losing and you know that. Secondly, the US and UK have the motivation, means and history to start a false flag operation if things get too far out of hand. The US has no other option but to escalate.

Assuming the Russians would nuke their reunited territory and endanger their own people is as ridiculous as assuming the Russians would blow up their own pipelines.

If Russia isn't losing what exactly are they doing?

One town that they pulled out of is minor compared to the overall landscape. The Ukrainians cannot hold on to Lymon for an extended period of time.

its interesting watching people apply The Art of War to a ****in message board discussion.
