Go start a new thread discussing disparities. Just make sure you get the stats from rural WV & KY to compare to your Boston stats.
At first. Afghanistan it could be argued was justified. Russia invaded a country because people they arent at war with might move in. We invaded because people in that nation actually attacked us.
Iraq was just crap, but that doesnt excuse Russia, or make anyone here hypocrites. Each invasion is different. Heck Iraq 1 was a completely different circumstance than Iraq 2. Even though they were both: mostly by us, against the same regime, in the same country, and not even two decades apart.
I would also ask you to define support. Because right now you guys are acting like anything less than rioting in the streets is support.

How long are we gonna be giving these bums money?
Afghanistan was 100% justified war. I supported us blowing the f*** out of the Taliban and I support it just the same today.
However...
It all went wrong when we morphed our goals into "nation building". What a crock of sh*t that was.
What about the Russians and Greeks that have been there since the late 18th Century? You act as though the majority of the Russians in these regions have only been there since Stalin came on the scene. You are not being intellectually or historically honest. When Russia ran the Soviet Union, you'd suppose they planted a lot of Russians in the states they occupied. Therefore, not surprising that there are a lot of Russians outside Russia and that Russian not exactly a foreign language in a lot of those states. The only thing states like Ukraine did wrong was not do some "ethnic" cleansing of their own and chase out or barbeque the leftover Russians; leaving them there to fester and mold was always a bad plan ... except for Russia.
My cardiologist had a new nurse, and she had an interesting accent. I liked her a lot and asked a little about where she was from, etc. She asked what her accent sounded like to me, and I replied Russian. Turns out she was from one of the Stans, so I'd guess a lot of people in the old Soviet states might speak Russian and appear to be related to their conqueror of many years ... and that there were Russians planted there to ensure compliance. I worked with an engineer from one of the eastern European Soviet states; he spoke fluent Russian ... the language of the occupier.
You know good and damn well that when the USSR broke apart in 1991, the people of Crimea and Donbas went from one country into separate countries in the blink of an eye, by no fault of the people living in these regions. And they would have lived peacefully in Ukraine as it was before 2014 had it not been for the US State Department. This is what the whole thing is all about. Pure and simple. Ukraine as it exists separates Russia from Crimea.

But alas, the Russians have sooooo many reasonably priced eggs. We can only wish that our on-the-brink-of-collapse western civilization will one day obtain the same. Right @Rasputin_Vol ?
It really hinges on these so-called conservatives in here and in Congress. They seem to have an unhealthy fixation with wanting to kill Russians.Zelensky Asks for $55 Billion to Cover Budget Deficit and Fund Reconstruction - News From Antiwar.com
