Russia isnt taking anything. A referendum was held, areas voted to join Russia and it should be respected, just as the US and UN respected Kosovo's.
Like I said, irrefutable. The US made these rules, and Russia is following them.
Cute ending. But your words betray you. You care a whole lot about Russia and Ukraine. Think about the number of posts you have in this thread. You are a liar. We know that. And now are lying to yourself. Get help. Aren't RAS crazy but close
That you actually believe a legitimate democratic vote was held speaks directly to your naiveté.
And oh btw, is that the standard you advocate?
(1) Invade a sovereign country.
(2) Set example by torturing and executing the remaining citizens that didn't move away.
(3) Hold referendum overseen solely by invading country.
Seems legit.

Similar to how the Donbas asked Russia for help? The same war Assad asked Russia for help?

Who were these outside monitors and from where? Were they also at gunpoint? The elections were hastily done to legitimize their invasion and because Ukraine was taking it's land back in large sections at the time. They had outside observers monitoring the Elections. So, we can put that talking point to bed.
Points 2 and 3 are fabrications used to evoke emotions because you cant refute my (and others) rock solid reasoning. That is all your side has as refutation, emotional fabrications. It's the same playbook we saw for 4 years, it went from "Orange man bad" to "Russian man bad".
So if southern Florida wanted Cuba to come in and wanted part of America that makes it ok? Seriously dude, listen to yourself.
Why is it our business to get involved with a country whose leader has declared himself both President and Prime Minister? Sounds like we would be supporting a dictator. Let the people of Haiti solve this problem. It's not our place to get involved. In a country with no stability and no real leadership with horrible problems. Not saying what he's done is right or wrong but the chutney has pressing needs their government isn't capable of providing.
I've been told that we can't just go around questioning the results of an election. So why are doing it?Who were these outside monitors and from where? Were they also at gunpoint? The elections were hastily done to legitimize their invasion and because Ukraine was taking it's land back in large sections at the time.
For what it's worth I wouldn't trust an election Ukraine had hastily manufactured under those conditions either.
The fact you see them and the ridiculous, simply unbelievable results as legitimate is comedy.
Wow. So you deny the reality that Russia has tortured and executed citizens in occupied Ukraine.
What's it like living in an alternate, imaginary reality?
War crimes in the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine

People in this thread call Putin a dictator but also have the audacity to support dictatorships in Ukraine and Haiti. It's rather mind boggling. Not only isn't it our place but looking back over the last 30 years of absolute foreign policy failures by our Gov't, it is highly likely our involvement will only make things worse for the people of Haiti.
