You added battle tested, not me. Yes, these forces will be a huge battlefield upgrade for Russia. The west knows this, thus the panic and ridiculous dirty bomb narrative. Ukraine is in a bad spot and they largely brought it upon themselves.

Would you be ok with an agreement that Ukraine not join NATO?
ATP it is a just a piece of paper that initiates a response, but not automatic Article stuff, But leaves open a response such as we are currently witnessing. But it denies sovereignty.

How are burger flippers and baristas a huge battlefield upgrade? If'n you mean upgrade from the senior citizens and criminals that the RF trotted out before - I guess you could make an argument for "upgrade". No, I wouldn't. Simply because it's not our deal to make.

If NATO votes them down, then that's too bad - but it isn't our place to negotiate that, that's Ukraines fight. Truth be told, Ukrainians are tough SOB's and - they're winning - I kind of want them on our side.

I would take that as a victory and not push it.
Regime change should not be on the table as it becomes very serious and not worth it. It should happen organically

No body is worried about or discussing regime change but Pootin (and his political rivals).

He picked a fight he shouldn't have and is too much of a thug to get himself out of this mess, he made his bed - I don't really care if he's ousted. He got his bluff called - if he nukes anyone, he's done.

His ego is his problem, he's afraid to be seen as weak. But that ship has sailed, he and Russia are soft. Paper Tiger seems too generous.
