Yes but nothing in that agreement was preventing trade with Russia, numerous EU nations traded with Russia.

Why? Rooting against Russia is just common sense. They are the aggressor here guys is all their fault. Had they minded their own damn business and abides by their commitments none of this would have happened. Regardless what you think of Ukraine, hoping Russia self face plants is just common sense.
