At the same time, despite the bitterness and unprecedented sanctions pressure from the West, thanks to the competent policy of the federal leadership, we are able to move forward in our development. In the past year in our republic, we implemented a lot of projects in various spheres of life, fulfilled all social obligations, achieved impressive results in the implementation of national projects, provided real support to small and medium-sized businesses, exceeded the construction of new housing by 2.5 times, put into operation 29 new schools, four high-tech modern factories. With the help of the ROF named after the Hero of Russia Akhmat-Khadzhi Kadyrov, about three hundred low-income families improved their living conditions. The Fund also provides invaluable assistance to needy residents of the republic, new regions of Russia, as well as our soldiers located in the NVO zone.

I'm hedging a bit. It did contract, according to them by about 2-3%... not by the 20% or more that the EU was saying at the time the sanctions were implemented.

I told these clowns awhile back the Russian economy would be just fine. They still have their trading partners in Asia and other parts of the world. Then there will be some European countries that will tell the powers that be to go pound sand.

But if you mention just that simple fact a few of these guys flip out like Woody Hayes.
