War in Ukraine

Is that supposed to be a jab at Russia? Why is NATO scrambling to gather up tanks and equipment for Ukraine now? What happened to all of that equipment that Ukraine started the war with? Where did it go? Did those old Russian weapons grind them to dust?

See, you can't have it both ways. You can't pop s^^t about Russia using inferior equipment and tactics, but at the same time be scrambling for weapons and needing $100+ billion to save their bacon....

Again the success of the Kharkiv and Kherson offensives I think changed Western opinion on sending heavier equipment. I'm really not sure what your getting at asking about where all the equipment Ukraine had before the war? The vast majority of their armed forces are still using Soviet era tech and its still in the fight...

Wonder what Bradley variant they’re going to send/ have already sent. Will they all be Bradley Fighting Vehicle, or will some of them be Cavalry Fighting Vehicles? Will they have system that provides GPS coordinates when something is lazed with the LRF?

AMX-10 RCs are, as I understand it, used as recce/cav elements as the M3 would (and the M2 possibly could). I think the Bradleys and AMXs would complement each other well when used together. Bradleys have the TOW for stand-off engagements while the AMXs can provide immediate fire support against softer targets that the Bradleys can keep pinned.

I haven't seen what type they're sending either yet.

Currently from the last lists I’ve seen Russia is still the largest equipment supplier to Ukraine via abandoned and captured equipment. So their Soviet hardware isn’t going away anytime soon nor should it. They are well trained on how to employ it as we’ve seen in those two offensives.

So to be clear, the weapons they are sending now is "all in"? Nothing more after this? Or when these weapons don't change the outcome, will the West (try to) escalate more?
He said "all in" not all done. As long as Ukraine wants to fight they will have weapons.

Hey, what difference does it make? It will be our great great great grandchildren that will have to pay for it.

I was looking at T Bills today. A one year rate is like 4.7% iirc..Inflation is real for people that especially live paycheck to paycheck
This deficit spending hurts the poor the most.
If I was a pol I would remind folk that money doesn't grow on trees.

Yep, it doesn’t grow in trees. It gets printed on presses or created on a computer.

Let me be clearer. This is NOT the US. vs russia. It is the entire free world vs russia. If you think democracy and freedom are important.. you are anti russian. And, they can **** them selves. So can you. Freedom wins. Sorry you are scared.

Hell yes! I am scared of a government that thinks money grows on trees.
You need an economics lesson.

If money is so superfluously spent then the value of the money is worthless. A foundation built on sand.

This is like Vietnam where the poor suffer the most in casualty of inscription. This time it is INFLATION.

This is some stupid stuff! We have a guy on this forum with a masters in economics that says money supply isn’t a problem, printing money we don’t have to send overseas isn’t a cause for concern and people like you don’t know ****.
