At Least 5 Killed In Kabul Suicide Blast Possibly Targeting Chinese Delegation | ZeroHedge

It's unclear if the Chinese delegation was targeted. If so, it would appear that terrorists are specifically seeking to go after the Chinese government's diplomatic and business presence in the country.

China has already been on alert, with Taliban authorities earlier vowing to protect Chinese nationals, after the December 12 bombing and shooting attack on Kabul's Longan Hotel, which is well-known gathering place of Chinese businessmen and diplomats.

South China Morning Post reviews of that earlier assault and others:

Isis - a key rival of the Taliban - claimed responsibility for the December 12 attack on Kabul Longan Hotel, which left five Chinese nationals injured. Several Afghan military and police were also killed.​

The assault on the Longan - a hotel run by Chinese that had served a wave of visiting Chinese businessmen since the Taliban took over the country - came less than two weeks after an attack on Pakistan’s embassy in Kabul. In September, a suicide bomber hit Russia’s mission.​

14,000 died on both sides over 8 years. In combat losses alone we are over 200k in less than a year. The shelling in the Donbas BY BOTH sides could have continued for more than 100 years and not come close to the military losses from Russia's invasion. When you add in civilian casaulties it gets far far worse. You guys show your true colors every time you stay silent on Russias involvement in the loss of life.

This was never about saving lives. It was about taking territory. Even you guys cant argue it otherwise.

So what about the 100k ethnic and national Russians dead in the war?

At the very worst, meaning the most ethnic Russians, we are talking about 5,600 hundred ethnic Russians dead in the bombardment. That's assuming all of the 14k losses were civilians, they werent, and that's assuming 40% ethnic russians, it wasnt that high of a percentage. And russia has thrown away 100k. Talk about bad math. Putin has ordered far more Russians to their deaths then you could ever argue Zelensky wanted in his worst wet dreams.

You dont save lives by taking more lives. It's like listening to women talk about how.much money they "saved" on their shopping spree. "I will save $5.60 over 8 trips", husband looks at the receipt and sees that she actually spent $100 in one trip alone. And he also sees that the wife has at least one more trip planned.

Without Russian involvement those 5600 or 14k, whichever number you prefer, those lives never would have been at risk. The russians armed the rebels. It's the exact same as your argument for the west arming Ukraine and extending the war. If Russia doesnt arm the rebels those areas capitulate long before we get to a combined 14k dead. And then we also dont get a war with at least 200k dead. Russia could have minded it's own business and been fine.

NATO and the west are not, and never have been a threat to Russia. Again more than 70 years of peace for Russia under NATO. The longest peace Russia has ever known came under NATOs watch.

Russia sitting on the Security Council is why KFOR in Kosovo was a NATO mission and couldn’t be a UN mission. And why Russia will never be allowed in NATO. They should have their asses thrown off the Security Council since most deliberations are basically about their actions it seems.
