War in Ukraine

I'm sure the Russians likely have "inadvertently" killed some civilians. But I do not believe they are targeting civilians. The difference is that when/if it is from Russia, it is a war crime. When the US/NATO does it, it is collateral damage.
Of course you don’t believe it. Your mental picture of your heroes would implode if you accepted it. We get reports daily of civilians getting targeted and killed with precision weapons. So they’re either the worst in the world at targeting or they’re hitting exactly what they shoot at Moe. And actively targeting civilians is a war crime regardless of who does it so your butt hurt deflection is rejected.

All of these d@mn immigrants coming over here and draining our entitlement system...

Ukrainian refugees in the US will receive a pension and health insurance: details.

SSI is a government pension paid to low-income people over age 65 and people with disabilities.

What amount of pension will be paid to Ukrainians?

The amount of the payment depends on the state in which the refugee resides. In 2023, the minimum will be $914 per month for a single person or $1,371 for a married couple.

Meanwhile, the needs of our own citizens continued to be ignored and danced around. Then there's the benefit of Ukries having the right hue of their epidermis. Otherwise, they'd be just dumped or exported. Frankly, I don't want any more immigrants here, no matter where they came from.

I said early on that this was Europe’s problem to resolve. What I didn’t do was use imaginary US intervention in Ukraine’s political system as justification for Russian aggression.
Lol. It wasn't imaginary. Then please explain why McCain, Lindsey, Biden and his son, Christopher Murphy, Richard Blumenthal, Victoria Nuland made multiple trips over there in the past. Visiting friends? Vacationing in Ternopil?

This is outrageous.

Why the hell are US citizens providing UBI and free HC to immigrants? This is maddening

The poster. This apparently actually hit back in April 2022 also and is another in a growing list of rehashed items they’re throwing out again.

Doesn’t mean it’s ok but if it has teeth and has been around 10 months why are we just hearing about it now. Thus my wait and see
I posted a pro-Ukrainian website.

I only posted it today because it came to my attention today.

@Orangeburst as of Dec 2022 for the 2022 fiscal year the US had accepted a total of 1610 Ukrainian refugees which would appear to be the total pool of people who could even been considered for this 12 month stipend. While that doesn’t make it any more valid even to me it goes to show this is just another distraction dog whistle to sow discontent. That’s what propagandists do after all.

I bet the majority of Ukrainian refugees have resettled somewhere in Russia. Where the eggs are cheap and white Ladas are plentiful.

I’m not aware of any actual evacuation efforts by the US to even get them here. This isn’t people walking thousands of miles because they want to come to the US. These are civilians displaced by war who had no desire to move in the first place. So again this is just another dog whistle to sow discord.

Curious. Are you Native American? If not, one of your ancestors was an immigrant.

The backbone of our working society broseph. You should be grateful for the majority of those who immigrate here... they do the hard jobs that nobody else does in our lame workless society.

Or maybe you're just a racist. Do tell.

Agreed. The only one's I'd welcome would be those that can fully financially support themselves, do it LEGALLY, and can bring something to the table to better us. No more poor people that are financial burdens, or people that cut corners.

We do need some migrant workers here....legally. They work for a while then they go home. We don't need permanent, poor migrants here.
