No, Putin wanted a buffer zone between Russia and NATO countries and Biden's threat to make Ukraine forced Putin's hand. Biden should have never talked about Ukraine become a member of NATO.
Not to mention that France and Germany have been notably against Ukraine joining and Biden came out and said he wasn't in favor of them joining shortly before the special military operation.Yet Putin's invasion has given NATO a renewed purpose and added two neutral countries to the alliance so if it was truly about NATO he has failed.
We were enablers to the situation. We cared more about propagating NATO than Europe did. And it’s reflected in the funding over the years. Now the lazy bastards are facing their first major conflict since WW2 and trying to react after 8 years of warningIf anything I have learned from this..the EU has neglected their military alliance commitments. The ones that said they would commit 2% of GDP,,but instead directed their monies to their social states.
Poor Germany running roughshead over Italy and Greece. Now wondering what the hell.
And Trump was correct once again . Not that BS MSM media

What would the US do if the Chinese or Russians began arming/training the drug gangs in Mexico?
I'm hoping Ukraine kicks Russia's ass and sends them home demoralized and castrated. I just oppose paying for it.
You can at least make a case that China hasn’t acted in a fashion that would warrant removal from the security council. Why Russia hasn’t been thrown off it for their body of work since 2008 is a mystery. That's the problem though. It's always an unfair fight, or the bully wouldn't attack. So the little guy can't make a fight of it on his own, and needs some support. Unchecked, the bully just becomes a bigger and more aggressive bully, because nobody stood up to him. While I agree to a great extent that Europe should be paying a bigger part of the bill, the fact remains that we are more a world power than any of the European countries. I've said and thought for a very long time that as long as we pay for Europe's defense, European countries are free to pay for their damn socialist programs that half this country wants us to copy. Having to listen to that crap is as offensive as giving away our money for "foreign aid".
Part of the weak link is the UN structure and that Russia and China have veto power - like giving the fox a key to the chicken coop. Ukraine should be a UN action, but it can't be because Russia as the aggressor is protected with a veto and China would back them even if Russia had to abstain from the vote.
Lithuania and Poland as well with Kaliningrad.Hey Einstein, pull up Google maps. Look up Estonia. What country does that border? (HINT: Rhymes with Prussia). Look South of Estonia... that's Latvia. What does it border?
Both countries have been part of NATO since 2004.
Back to the kids' table, Junior.
LMAO you talking about the bromance where Xi called the bald dwarf his best friend in 2019? Man that’s some major work on Biden’s part. Look there is plenty to point at Puddinhead has got wrong you don’t need to make stuff up.Welp it looks like the Biden Administration foreign policy has aligned Russia and China.
