Dude, we're not forcing anyone. They are fighting foreign aggressors who invaded their country......... Your rhetoric is mind numbingly obtuse and predictable at this point.
He needs help. Like serious mental evaluation help. Most folks would be humiliated to even attempt to pawn of that turd. @Rasputin_Vol trots it out like it's his job AND with a straight face. His lack of self awareness is truly breathtaking.
What is this castle doctrine nonsense. We've been over this before. You can't compare neighborly disputes with geopolitical disputes. The closest you can even come to that lame analogy is to say that if someone attacks your home, that you decide to burn your house down in order to protect and save it. You and people like you that support this idea that they should fight to the last Ukrainian have created a failed state. You've destroyed Ukraine rather than salvaged it.Apparently the castle doctrine is completely out the window in the Ras world ... or at least if it's the Russians at the door.

Also, mutual respect and equal accountability is lacking in our foreign policy decisions. We don't respect the security concerns of China or Russia, but we expect everyone else to have respect for our security concerns. That's BS. And, when you have one set of rules in one case but a different set of rules for someone else, that makes you a not be taken seriously.

Whoever takes his place will have to have the backing of the Turkish military which i suspect would only allow a similar authoritarian. What made Turkey such a stalwart ally in the 1960s through the 1990s was a combination of their anti soviet stance (dating all the way back to the wars between the Tsars and the Ottoman Turks and the eternal Russian desire to control the Bosporus and Dardanelles) and the pronounced secularism of the Turkish State from the period of Atatürk.
With the current changes, neither condition applies to make Turkey a dependable ally
Turkey's presidential contender, leader of the Turkish Rodina party, Dogu Perincek, explains why "Crimea is Russia": During the Soviet Union, borders were not drawn by nationality, so Russians make up a large majority there. And in Crimea, Russians and Crimean Tatars prefer to be part of Russia, and Turks too. 96% voted for Russia in the referendum. In the days of the USSR, they didn’t care, they didn’t look at the borders, that the Russians would remain on the other side. But when the USSR collapsed, part of the Russian population remained in Ukraine, and now they say: we do not want to live under the rule of Ukraine. It used to work because there was a Russian-friendly administration in Ukraine, but now that America came in and ruined everything there, the Russians began to resist it.
This thread is beyond sad. Ad hominem attacks from losers like @NorthDallas40. @BeardedVol, @Hunerwadel, @MontyPython, @Septic, @volfanhill slobbering over Zelenskys sack. It’s pathetic. You people are so gullible it’s not even funny. Every pro Ukraine tweet is somehow legit and not propaganda. Every pro Russia tweet is somehow illegitimate and propaganda. That’s your line of thinking. . Keep up the dumb.

except their concerns are just paranoia, we have 80+ years of history to prove that those countries are far more protected than they were before. What is this castle doctrine nonsense.
