The right wingers that are Ukrainiacs are mostly Boomers holding on to their hatred of Russians since the Cold War. The Left wingers didn't start to hate Russia until Hillary and 2016. Before that, lefties praised the USSR and were mostly apathetic about Russia between 1991 and 2016.

I wonder why he isn't commenting on the two conflicts actually on Turkey's border that Russia also has a hand in. Seems like those would be much more pressing issues for a real leader of a nation to first take care of his own borders before looking at someone else's. Seems like this guy has an agenda to push without really caring about his own country.

decries ad hominem attacks and then turns around and uses ad hominem attacks two words later. that's got to be a record for hypocrisy.

This is part of the reason why your argument doesn't hold water. The other is that most people you are attacking aren't actually pro-Zelensky. at best/worst they are pro-Ukrainian. you are just resorting to another logical fallacy, red herrings, to try and change the argument from one you can't win, pro-Ukraine, to one you think you can win, pro-Zelensky.

and even pro-Ukraine is probably too strong of a term, but that doesn't fit into your narrow field of arguments so thats probably the best distinction I can make.

You are always going to get a sampling bias from individuals on any topic. they aren't going to quote something they don't agree with. There are TONS of obvious pro-Ukrainian bs that doesn't get posted to this thread, or even referenced. and if anything Ras and crew are guilty of the same thing you are calling out. When was the last time they posted something that framed Russia in a negative light? Do you REALLY think that ALL of the bad is one sided in a war?

Let Russia and Ukraine deal with their own problems. I want us to stop supporting a corrupt dictator. The fact that we are giving massive amounts of aide to a go go dancer masquerading as a president over one of the most corrupt countries on Earth is sickening. What’s just as sick is seeing the idiots in here who support Ukraine.
