War in Ukraine

It's incomprehensible that we haven't given Ukraine the long-range missiles it needs. With them Ukraine could probably ensure the success of its coming counter-offensive. It may succeed anyway, but the long-range missiles could really put paid to Russia's rear suppy operations in Crimea and make the job lots easier. The idea that we don't want any "escalation" of the war is fairly absurd at this point: It's a war, it's been escalated. We've provided a huge amount of assistance, but our slow, incremental approach to weapons supply continues to be an issue.

It’s their fight not ours and fact is we don’t have the supplies to just open ended give them to Ukraine and arm our own troops. I don’t get the logic of the Ukrainian freedom fighters in the US. We can no longer afford to be the World’s police force and Ukraine is hardly an ally of the US. I know it is pretending to be one now

It's not odd. He's a major player in this conflict. Per the usual you have no clue. But hey do you have your next user name planned out? I mean you have to prepare for your own inability to discuss things like a normal person.

I don't keep up with the Ukraine war and I'm not a Zelensky boot licker like you. Im not obsessed with this who wins So no I don't know the names of every person.

If one is clueless it's you Zelensky sheep thinking that Ukraine is winning this war.

I don't pretend Ukraine is some wonderful government, I think both governments are bad. I know Russia should not have invaded but since they did, I don't think Ukraine will be able to defend unless the US brings in troops.
Looks like we're going to find out pretty soon because the US definitely will not be sending troops. (unless Russia does something really stupid)

As I have said, the US would be hard pressed to take a city like Mariupol as quickly and efficiently as Russia did. This talking point that Russia hasn't evolved since WW2 is quite honestly dumb. Are they as capable, well trained and technologically advanced as US forces? No. But they aren't that far behind. Would Russia also take a huge amount of casualties in a conflict with the US? Yes. Another false talking point is the massive equipment losses Russia has taken due to javelins. Totally false.
lol. We took Baghdad with 34 losses. Battle of Baghdad (2003) - Wikipedia

it took 2 weeks, about 1800 dead Iraqi civilians, 0.0002% of the pop, city of about 7 million at the time, their most important city, and it was about 500km from the border.

I have seen claims of 20k dead Russians taking Mauripol which is clear bs, realistically it seems to be 2 or 3 thousand. it took Russia 2 months, about 1500 dead Ukrainian civilians, (Ukraine claims 25k dead civilians but I can't find any numbers backing that up) 0.003%, Mauripol has a population of 500k, 14x smallera, and is directly on the border.

the Russians are fielding T64s, what do you think took out enough T-90s, T-80s, T-72s to an extent where T-64s were needed? Javelins and other western provided MANPADS are probably the number 1 contributor.

My bet would be that Pootin was thinking Russia could have veto power with NATO like they do with the UN. Then they could keep doing stuff while making sure NATO and the UN were neutralized.
thats a fair explanation. destroy it from the inside type of thing.

This is hilarious. No break-up upon impact. No damage to the surrounding area. Do they expect us to believe it fell from the sky and just perfectly placed itself in one spot with no signs of impact whatsoever? Your boy's ain't the brightest, @Rasputin_Vol.

not saying I fully think its legit, but I think you can jam/hijack UAVs if you can lock on. I would figure it would turn off and glide down. wouldn't necessarily expect a crater/trail. those things are typically pretty light compared to their size.

could be bs, but this is one of the slightly more believable pieces of propaganda they have put out.

Just stop. You're making @volgr cry.
