War in Ukraine

Theater, the show must be believable.
why though?

I forget which show/movie it came from but: there has to be an easier way to steal money.

and this also relies on Russia invading Ukraine so that Zelensky, who wasn't elected until 2019, could actually hold Biden ransom. and the events in question happened years before either Zelensky or Biden was in power. so this third party, who was apparently working for the actor/comedian Zelensky at the time, was able to con his way into a meeting between the one of the largest Ukrainian corporations and a former VP's son, in order to gain blackmail for a couple years down the road. just seems really farfetched.

has anyone seen a graphical, or descriptive break down of the Russian defense lines?

like in this tweet they claim to break several defensive lines before making this primary defensive line.

as I understand it the Russians have multiple lines, but are those only mentioning the "primary" lines mentioned above? Or would the defensive lines be some of those, and the primary would just be the biggest/most defended? and how are the mine fields counted?

if they are just now only making the first of several "primary" lines, that sounds like trouble. If they have reached a primary as the main/last/biggest, then its a good thing. where they are going to bleed the most is in between the lines. you lose a lot of momentum trying to go from one line to the next, and if there are minefields inbetween then it gets even worse. especially as any decent artilleryman is going to have those areas zeroed.

The 1st RU line should be the strongest in theory - especially near towns like Tokmak. If UKR breaks through, then Tokmak will be within firing range of their tubes and most of its artillery. That would put RU in a pickle.

Bold move. No doubt they've gotten a lot of intel and tactics from the West, but something must tell them this is a worthwhile risk.... or they have an ace up their sleeve. Thoughts?
Or they are just throwing more men in the meatgrinder. Insanity is doing the samething over and over again and expecting a different outcome. They already tried an offensive on the southern front in early June and never even touched the first set of Russian fortifications. They were wandering in the neutral/gray zone the past 8 weeks with nothing to show for it.

The Russians could just leave then they wouldn’t have to continue assaulting the invading Russians positions. You know? 🤡

I guess they were just following Russia's example over the past 6 plus months.

Why hasn't Putin defenestrated him yet?

Prigozhin was spotted at an international summit in Russia, hundreds of miles from where he was last seen in his underwear in a Belarus field tent

it took the mighty Russians 9 months to take one town. that was plenty of trying the same thing over and over again to. No way to argue it didn't cost more lives than if they had just taken it in one swoop.
