Russia Says Ukraine Fired US Long-range Missiles At Border Region

Russia's military said Tuesday that Ukraine fired US-supplied long-range missiles at a military facility in the Bryansk border region, in what would be the first attack since Washington authorised the use of its weapons.

It is being said on social media Ukraine cannot launch these long range missiles themselves for they must be launched by NATO or the US, requires NATO-US to select/locate target and use satellites for guidence

that is just straight BS. its the same HIMARS platform. what people are too dumb to understand is that Ukraine has been using the ATACMS missiles for a while. these are just longer ranged versions of those same missiles. Ukraine is fully capable of launching them themselves. NATO having to do it for them is just pure Russian copium.

and the only "satellite" guidance they need is GPS. they don't need access to our military satellites to guide them. but they also have inertia guidance, which has less accuracy, but its still perfectly capable of being used with GPS.

So NATO isn't launching them or are they and if they are does that mean NATO and by proxy the US have declared war on Russia?

Why, would "NATO" put boots on the ground in Ukraine, to operate a weapons platform, that Ukrainians have been using for 2 years, and are fully capable of using themselves?

I mean, if we're asking, are we really sure that extraterrestrials are not firing ATACMS on Ukraine's behalf?

I'm simply asking if the claim is verified..if your unable to do that then cool....I agree it doesn't make sense, but I don't believe most of us know fully what is going on over there 100% and are making assumptions based on our biased knowledge.

They use GPS guidance which is satellite however they don’t require any assistance. Anybody can use the satellite signal. Social media is wrong.

Russia has been complaining about this since the early-mid 90s.... let's stop rewriting history here its in the Congressional Record. The U.S. military told Congress and the U.S. government to stop the B.S. or there would eventually be the issues we have today. They weren't making it up and this was before Putin was even a thing.

Think about it this way. In order to hit anything ATACMS has to be given a coordinate. There is no magic for a coordinate in Ukraine vs Russia that suddenly requires a different person to enter the coordinate. All that is required is the coordinate. In this day and age for these building sized targets you can get that from Google earth. Buildings don’t move and they’re large so that’s easy. So as usual Putin is lying. Again.

I don't think NATO has ever had anything to do with firing the missiles at Russia. they supplied the missiles, and trained Ukraine. but Ukraine is the only one firing the missiles.

Correct, NATO just supplied the missiles, taught them how to use them, provided them targeting data and approved their use but NATO didn't actually push the button.

As been said Ukraine can fire them, but I’ll bet someone in the west has told how they will be used or Ukraine has a specific list of targets.
