War in Ukraine

Didn't you get the memo?

You can stop pretending that you care about foreign corruption now.

Trump's regime has several problems.

This alarms me as well:

it's true that Trump has an ego. However, a President of the United States should not exercise his power against our friends and allies. His behavior is mercurial at best. It certainly is erratic. One never knows what he will do next.

Just because you can do something doesn't mean you should do it.

One should be concerned that he is abrogated our position as the leader of the free world and that he is jeopardizing NATO.

The President should exercise his power over enemies, friends and allies... that his duty under the Constitution. If you are talking about the Ukraine, they were not our friend the neocons set them up, so there isn't anything Trump can do about that. If anything you are not working in good faith, the U.S. is actually doing the opposite by not exercising power over countries i.e. exit. You are actually mad because he is basically exiting the Stage.... not exercising power over foreign countries.

One should be concerned that he is abrogated our position as the leader of the free world and that he is jeopardizing NATO.

The first part is a campaign slogan, the second part I would say good. Time to exit. With many in his administration saying we should exit. I agree.

The sad truth is that the Conservative see Liberals in Europe and here more as an enemy than Russia now and the same is true of liberals towards Trump.

I think it is more than about Ukraine. The left wing politicians in Europe and Canada can't get along with Trump and vice versa. Trump is putting pressure on Europeans to elect groups like Marine La Pen's French National Assembly and Germany's AfD. I think the same thing is going on with Canada. I think Trump is directed it more at Trudeau than Canada at large.

Both sides have been doing this for some time. Look how much the Hungarian leader is ostracized. Italy is taking up for Trump more because they have a semi-Conservative government.

The left vs. right battle is going on in a global arena now.

I know but at some point we need to start PAYING IT OFF.

DOGE doesn't do jack if we don't but a dent into it and balance the budget.

By the way, not yelling at you, good post. Just fussing at our politicians.
I understand. And I agree.

But you've got to be honest with spending and debt over the last 30+ years. What we NEED to do is nowhere near what they WILL do.

Wonder how many people here who now act like Russia is innocent mocked Obama earlier?

If he was wrong, then Trump certainly is wrong.

What did Russia do to me?

Obama was actually paying Al-Qaeda, the irony. All the neocons have been all in on Russia, including Obama but they have a gravy train going in Afghanistan. (Romney was just controlled opposition which is why there is now the Orange man)

Is this before or after we assisted in overthrowing there government?

(In the future, they're going to be saying I support Europe as Europe attacks itself)

I do not like his style of diplomacy, I won't defend it. But what free world is left? Europe is no longer a free society, the most basic tenants of a free society have been given/taken away.

While I think it short sighted to distance ourselves now it was trending that direction and has been for some time. I think it too early but it was going to happen any, Europe was doomed when they created EU.

This article is a beautiful reminder of why the left lost and will continue to lose. The labels and terms of another opinion piece trying to pass as facts. When the left stops putting emphasis in conservative labels and starts seeing they suck as a party now, then eventually they’ll address their own issues. The only cult is those needing Trump as the villain.

I think it has been an issue brewing for sometime.

When the concept of Democracy came up, there wasn't a lot of the modern technologies in play. Over time, we have flooded government with new responsibilities that were totally out of sight at the time of our founding such as Healthcare, Retirement, Power Grids/Utilities, etc. The government has so many additional duties today than in the past. Even the management of our roads and traffic systems was something, perhaps, unforeseeable. In the world of the 1700s, when people lived on farms or small communities with trades, things were a little easier.

A great post is taking 15th Century Spain (Castile) as an example. In name, they had less freedom under Isabella but in practice, the monarch of that time probably interacted less with its citizenship on a day-to-day basis and had less control than our government today which is very frequently in our lives.

You seem a bit 'triggered'.

Are you one of the people that dress up like this for Trump rallies?

No, I’m a 3/4 zip (preferably Volunteer Traditions, Peter Millar or Vineyard Vines) ,and polo shirt kind of guy. Believe the term is business casual. But I do appreciate the patriotism and another example of why your party lost. Figured a grown man with a video game as his avatar would appreciate a nice face painting.

So covering one's self in Trump regalia and American flags is what passes for "patriotism" with you?

An interesting insight into your mindset; thank you for sharing.

More than burning it. But that’s just me, you may encourage flag burning of your country. You seem to have problems with those who don’t mind the American flag and take pride in displaying it in fashion and possibly their home. If we are discussing insight.
