I question why Zelensky even met with a political party that has absolutely ZERO power currently before a meeting with the leader of the party that has ALL the power. The democrats gassed the fool up and persuaded him into going full idiot on Trump. That will never work out well for anyone when you consider the egotistical person Trump is.

By the way, anyone know what the current total this war has cost US taxpayers to this point?

The issue is no one knows what the peace terms look like. Trump hinted that Ukraine was going to get a lot of their land back (not all like Zelenskyy wants).

$100-170B... stuff was in transit as well, not sure how much has gotten there or been cancelled. The U.S. is still trying to count all the bills for Afghanistan.

There really hasn't been peace negotiations at all as the Ukrainians and Europeans don't want to engage the Russians. Trump said something to the effect, "we'll try and get some land back". But all of that is meaningless because the Comedian said the Ukraine would never sign another agreement with Russia, and he was demanding things like all the land back and for Da Pootin to pay for everything i.e. Endless War.

The truth is... the United States already played their hand as did the Europeans, the Ukrainians got squat. This is why I said in 2022 and probably early 2023 that the best time to come to the table was that day, as the deal was always going to get worse.

it's true that Trump has an ego. However, a President of the United States should not exercise his power against our friends and allies. His behavior is mercurial at best. It certainly is erratic. One never knows what he will do next.

Just because you can do something doesn't mean you should do it.

One should be concerned that he is abrogated our position as the leader of the free world and that he is jeopardizing NATO.
