Too emotional for me, the “sons and daughters “ schtick. Grown men and women enlist in our armed forces. We should be a damn meat grinder of a military that shreds anything we encounter. That reputation would also ensure only people that are ready to fight at the drop of a hat, enlist.

I'm going to ask you a question and please answer honestly. If you had the power, would you sit out of WWII knowing full well what the Germans were doing in the camps? The Brits would not have been able to liberate Europe and would allow the Germans to turn their full attention and resources towards the Soviets and then to the Final Solution? Could you sleep at night knowing you condemned millions of innocent people to death?

Nah it’s better for European nations to show that they will actually defend their own interests instead of constantly relying on the US unless completely necessary, we aren’t there yet and I have zero confidence they will contribute much of anything

Only American interest in this is oil/gas (ironic). Russia is NOT some Germanic empire seeker that can do Germanic or USSR things. They have neither the military or economic capability to invade anyone but a very geographically close formerly aligned USSR membership. It would be travesty for a WW3 occurrence to happenstance because of entangled alliances. Just Ukraine alone would bleed them literally and figuratively.

You do realize we turned away tens of thousands of Jews trying to immigrate to the US during the late 1930’s and early 1940’s? World War 2 was a very just war but we can’t be the World’s police force and we didn’t have many issues ignoring genocide post WW2 in Cambodia, Rwanda, and Sudan. The fact is that other very capable nations need to doing their share of the heavy lifting

The way I see it...beleive it or not..Russia is the proxy actor for the CCP just as their USSR vassal states were proxy against the US during the Cold War....The CCP is the big dog.

What do you call demanding Germany not accepting LNG from Norde Stream 2 when the Germans and Russians got together and cut this mutually beneficial deal?

What about setting up camp in Northeast Syria and just robbing Syria at the regions oil facilities there?

What about starving countries with sanctions and forcing them to not be able to trade for goods using the reserve currency?
