And neither does the business. Thus is your paradox. If you as the owner (business) are paying the taxes vice your renter, then so is the business (Walmart for example) paying taxes. When Walmart's costs go up.. they pass them on just like you said. Patrons of Walmart don't 'own' that business either.... they are the same as your renter.

Not really. I offer a service just like any other service based business. Taxes are a line item cost that are passed on the consumer of that service. In my case that service is providing a space for people to live, or conduct business. Like any business, the consumer of the product or service pays all operating cost of that business. I'm having trouble understanding your point. Seems simplistic to me that taxes aren't any different than other operating cost, i.e. insurance.

I posted a poll a few pages back that showed that over 70% of Americans approve of US intervention in Ukraine (Specifically a "no fly zone"). It demonstrates that many people can't think and are emotionally driven.

That doesn’t surprise me. It’s not Ukraine that is one of the world’s superpowers. My post was just surmising why Russia would be recruiting outside their own armed forces if they were supposed to have curb stomped Ukraine.

I think we’re doing all we should be doing. Anything else greatly elevates the risk of a nuclear tragedy. Not sure we’re out of the woods as far as Putin lobbing one at his neighbors, but if we get involved, it could easily be multiple icbms flying all over the place.
