Perhaps that is the point. Notice how Trump was selecting the curtains for his 2020 reelection when along came Covid. Dems on all sides see this year's congressional elections as a wrath of a deity they dont believe in event. In the past, a war has unified the country around the leader in office. Perhaps that would work? Not saying the Dems had Putin pull the trigger but more along the lines of "never let a crisis go to waster" methodology.

You don't really think something that shows a government conspiracy is coming to light. We'll see all the stuff on the Kennedy assassination long before seeing dirt on clintons, FBI, CIA, NSA, FISA, DOJ, ... Federal government corruption cannot come out, or heads start rolling - elected ones first because that's who we can touch at the polls. Same thing with election fraud - whatever is found and corrected won't be done in the light of day because we can't be seen as having had rigged elections.

Blackmail. Either call them on it or set the standard for all time. Go for this and at some point sympathizing or speaking against aggression is being a belligerent or perhaps just considered an act of war. I simply do not see it the same way. There are plenty of true journalists still reporting and outlets intent on getting the truth out.
We also have more sickening propaganda and blatant false reporting that ever.
And finally, we have a public that is more than ever less able to distinguish between the two.

Fox News is the closest to being balanced other than Hannity and the opinion news hours.
