I dont know if this is true (but would be great if it was). I simply find it astonishing that the Russians are having general staff killed, and a MAJOR General at that. You have got to have some piss poor communication systems to have a general officer that close to the hot zones and incredible incompetence not to be well protected.

All TV "news" agencies went to crap the moment they started working as for-profit entities. When they did that, they only cared about ratings and being first-the truth took a back seat to inflammatory headlines and stories. Don't blame Fox for this either, it started way before Fox started a news channel. Then all news sources were consolidated to the point where we only have 4-6 companies running everything. The propaganda now flows with very little pushback or responsibility. Truly scary if you think about.
