In my opinion, NATO is no longer needed. If we have to face Russia then other countries would come on board no problem, we don't need a pact. We should also dissolve the United Nations. They are worthless, a joke, have no teeth, and we waste too many tax dollars on them.

Why are you asking that question. You know competency is built over time. When China called out the adminstration in Alaska for trying to tell them how to do their business with human rights when we have problems over here with "system racism" that was China using the democratic party and the Biden adminstration against itself. Then the debatable withdrawal from Afghanistan that proved the lack of testicular fortitude it was a signal of weakness. It was not the decision but the manner in which they did it. Additionally when you look at how this administration is turning on it's own citizens and the low approval ratings. Last, look at how this administration is ostracizing members of the military.

How? Putin also did a similar massing of forces in 2018. The NATO exercises picked up around the same time.

I know this is the politics forum and it’s what y’all do, but I don’t see everything through the lens of a red/blue tribal political spectrum. You’re like the inverse of the folks who thought every bad thing that occurred between 2017 and 2020 was Trump’s fault.

How? Because the US leads nato. You can’t proclaim NATO has increased exercises and pretend that occurs independent of the commander and chief of the US armed forces.

I’m just stating facts. Russian aggression has been objectively worse with Biden as president/Vice President

look guys. I saw it all. I know why we are here. Many of us on here lived it. We saw what happened. I know why we are here. There is a reason you don't believe anyone anymore about anything. It's been easy to take advantage of our past freedoms recently and use it against us. That's ok. freedom will ring, no matter what agendas will tell you. You want to know what the rest of the world thinks about America? The truth? I know because I've lived it. I know. They think America is where slavery was abolished. They think America was where Communism was Abolished. They think America is where anyone can work enough and make money. They think America is opportunity.

They used to think that. But, not recently. Recently they think we have been too stupid to appreciate it. That comes from 9-11. I remember it well. The people stopped 9-11. It could have been worse. The people stopped other events after that. The government felt an obligation to protect the people after that tho.

You know what I did in the 90's? true story. I rented with world famous musicians. meet a girl. Hitch hiked across canada and mexico. Splashed naked in the oceans of Acapulco (spell check does not even know how to spell that now) and talked to 90's dj's. Met friends that threw parties. Big ass parties . slept on frozen beaches in alaska working as a fisherman. Made life long friends. Saw incredible scenery and beauty untouched. settled on the west coast before cali got ahold if it. delt with bears/moose/ and hostels. Jesus. Before the world went dark. Before internet even existed.

One decade was a lifetime now.

I don’t follow. Biden wasn’t President in 2018, the last time Putin did something like this. How does a massing of forces in 2018 come back to Biden?

I can’t give Biden credit? Biden gives himself credit for his dealings with Ukraine. He openly brags about his involvement in Ukrainian affairs while Vice President, does he not?
