I am sorry and hate to say this but the REAL war crime is losing. Winners of wars are not charged in any court that has any power to impose upon them. There will always be a few cases egregious enough that the perpetrators are sacrificed by the winning government to show that they did not approve of these atrocities committed in their name. Losers, however nicely they "played", are put in jail if lucky and given a bullet to the head if not. Putin knows this. It is win or die for him and he is well aware of that.

What you are likely seeing now is a Russian strategy to encircle and obliterate. Before allowed Ukrainian fighters to escape and melt back into the civilian population. Now I think Russia may be looking to get everyone into a city, surround it so none escape and then crush it and burn it to the ground. I really pray for the people of Ukraine.

Sounds a little like another guy who needed to annex a country or two to his because his didn't have all the necessary resources ... and Joe Chamberlain said just this time. Just a reminder that history repeats - as demonstrated a few pages back with pictures of the Odessa Opera House in 1941 and 2022.

Yes, the winners decide the war crimes. If we had lost WW2, the Nuremberg Trials would have been called the Washington DC Trials.

I was looking at the map of areas currently under Russian control in Ukraine. It seems like one goal of Russia is to control areas that border the Black Sea. Is reason why the Black Sea is of importance to Russia?

I don't know who Richard Spencer is and I'm not going to waste time looking him up.
I don't believe minority support for republicans is increasing.
Some republicans are good people and should be elected.

I bet you knew who Richard Spencer was when he said he supported Trump. Now he supports Biden.

And yes minority support for Republicans is increasing. You guys are in denial on this one. The obsession with Trump and constantly finding ways to hate people is hurting your party. That and this awful mess of a presidency under Biden/Harris and their controllers. And let's not forget the totalitarian Covid measures which most of us haven't forgotten.

The Black Sea is Russia’s only naval port that doesn’t freeze during the winter. They’ve been leasing it from the Ukrainians at least until they annexed Crimea in response to the Ukraine coup in 2014. They fear that if Ukraine joins NATO, they will turn it into a NATO port and lose access to the warm water port as well as access to the Mediterranean.

Year round ice free ports for trade. This also explains the continuous preoccupation with the Russians with the Bosporus throughout their entire history

There's not a whole lot of countries that border the Black Sea at the moment. I think if Ukraine is cut off then that leaves I believe Russia, Georgia, Turkey, Romania and Bulgaria. Abkhazia borders it as well but is only internationally recognized by Russia and a few others. Transnistria may have a port there as well.
