War in Ukraine

So the US isnt encouraging Ukraine not to sign a ceasefire and running weapons into Ukraine to prolong this conflict, costing many more needless innocent deaths? Yet you want to moralize about their sovereignty? Get outta here with that crap. They are US proxy State by every definition.

LOL, it's the US that's prolonging a conflict that Russia unilaterally started and has the sole ability to stop at the drop of the hat?

This invasion was 100% carried out by Putin and his pathetic excuse for an Army, your audacity to blame the victim would be hilarious if it weren't so misguidedly stupid.

You seem like the kind of guy that would blame a rape victim because her skirt was too short.

That you think Ukraine should roll over either demonstrates you're either a defeatist or your a Putin sycophant.

Yeah, you see a lot of Washington, Jefferson, Adams and Madisons in that group? You guys are ao full of crap. Also, the will of the people wasnt to be a US proxy state, but nice rewrite of history.
No, the sentiment. The will in the face of uncertainty and devotion to independence.

We were rich before because of manufacturing here in the states. Most people tend to agree we dont manufacture enough for our own use, yet alone enough to be the richest.

If you forget get rich quick investment schemes/scams, then there really are two ways to build wealth. Either by "sweat equity" in manufacturing, growing, or otherwise improving natural materials for sale; or sale of owned natural resources. When you stop manufacturing and selling to others, you simply coast down; when you stop manufacturing and import what you used to manufacture, it's a rapid downward spiral into oblivion. As an individual or company, you can grow wealth by selling services; unless you have a huge population to sell as slaves or mercenary armies, service isn't going to work for countries.

sell out and help Russia remove the Western installed proxy government.

Is it so hard to conceive that the Ukrainians got a taste of freedom and are willing to die to protect it.

Weird, what country wouldn't want a tyrant like putin to dictate what they can do or what organizations they're allowed to join? If it wasn't evident why one wouldn't want to be ruled by a dictator look no further than the way the Russian citizens are being tossed in the clink for expressing any opinion at all that strays from the States.

So you're saying we shouldn't care now? Just because we or I may have been wrong before people deserve to die now?

There are semantics we could discuss but at the end of the day your argument here is because we didn't get it right in the past we should stay that course and continue to get it wrong now. Seriously, what kind of sense does that make?
You have a point. I'm glad you all have finally come around.

Now while you are in the mood of sympathizing with the loss of innocent life and invading armies, I will expect you all to use your platforms to condemn the illegal occupation of NE Syria by the United States and the needless killing of innocents there in their 8+ year plan to regime change there.

I also want to see a bunch of tweets and virtue signaling with "I Stand With Syria" memes in the red, black and green national color theme.

We are occupying Syria? And furthermore isn't Russia also currently involved there propping up the government there? I don't know the particulars of the situation on the ground but I believe we intervened via proxy to counter the local leader who was putting down an uprising from his country.

I also want these liberals to start posting their "I Stand With The Unvaccinated" memes with a copy of the Bill of Rights in the background...

He doesn’t understand the ramifications of a NATO plane downing a Russian aircraft.

I know I stray more to the thought of a no-fly zone than most others, but you are very correct we couldn't impose one over Ukraine and neither could NATO. It would have to be a UN imposed no-fly zone; and, yes, it would put crews and planes at risk. The concept is not that different from police work though. A governing body says you will not do this, and you violate the rule at your own risk. Ukraine would have every right to ask the UN for that kind of protection, but in reality it would either not happen or it would be all over before a decision happened. Ukraine as a sovereign state should have expectations of security and not fear invasion by other countries just as you or I have in our houses, and they should expect more from the UN as we would expect police protection, but in when whole scheme of things that protection is almost inevitably be too little too late ... if at all.

We have 900 troops in Northern Syria helping the Kurds fight ISIS. You have a weird way of defining situations involving the US

Can we just handle these as line items instead of acting like we're politicians stuffing pork into bills hoping no one notices.

I'm just wanting to see how genuine you all's concern is for innocent lives and sovereignty. If you can sympathize with Ukrainians, why not the Syrians and unvaccinated?

All lives matter?

Kind of like where the US is headed if the libs keep getting their way.
