The footage was recorded Thursday at an unidentified courthouse in the Kremlin capital, where the 31-year-old athlete pleaded not guilty to the drug charges, the news site reported.

The unverified clip serves as the first time Griner has been photographed or recorded since her arrest several weeks ago.

The footage also came as news emerged Thursday on Russian state media that Moscow jurists extended Griner's detention for another two months, until May 19.

I just disagree. Why did we not take him seriously when he claimed sanctions or arming Ukraine were acts of war?
What if he attacks a NATO country? Do we intervene then? Why then and not now? Risking a nuclear attack is justified if it is a NATO nation but not justified when it is not? That seems odd.

Because we, everyone else, would define the no fly zone as an act of war. Russia has been crying wolf on our perceived acts of war for decades now and no one listens.
