San Jose Sharks' Evander Kane suspended 21 games for violation of COVID-19 protocols - CBSSports.com

It doesn't say how the NHL found out. But there are several methods. It can be as simple as checking to see if the lot number was distributed around the date on the card and in the geography in question.
Were I to venture a guess I would suppose a child like attempt with white out and a copier or being snitched out by colleagues after flapping his gums about it. Verifying every record in the NHL seems a daunting expensive task. Checking records for every state employee in Washington would be near impossible. After canceling out in 2020, after I got vaxxed I started doing my old man routine visits to specialists and dentist and optometrists. Not one office would even look at my vax card or make a copy. When I asked why a lady in one of the offices said their management would not take on the liability to verify if a card was real or fake. They were instructed to NEVER look at a card. That pretty much convinced me there were fakes aplenty. Blood tests would be accurate but would require a medical records release. Vaxes may be mandated but a mandate will not get around HIPPO(sp) privacy laws. JMHO

@bamawriter
Let me simplify this, even though it was already pretty simple. I will never comply to any "vaccine" or "shot" that is required. Did that make things easier for you?

This coach is exercising his liberty. But it isn't in opposition to his boss, his school president, or his chancellor. It is in opposition to his government. You and I both enjoy a country which had its foundation laid at opposition to government rules.

I am sure he will find work in a state where Governors aren't taxing his tea against his principles.

Except in this case his employer was the government. They're one and the same. Now that he's been fired, he can still live in the state of Washington without getting vaccinated. He is at liberty to remain unvaccinated. But he has no right to work for the government without complying with their terms of employment.

And this is okay to you? Do you listen to everything that is told you to you and comply with everything?

There's no blood test that shows if you got the Covid vaccine (or any other for that matter) after a matter of days post-shot. They don't stay in your system long enough.

Yep.

No. I have left jobs over decisions with which I didn't want to comply. It doesn't mean that my former employers didn't have the right to make those decisions.
If a job gives you a warning because you're habitually late or not producing or etc. and you do not comply, then you are fired and rightfully so, because it messes with the production of the company. If a job tells you to get a shot or else, because they believe everything they're told and are going with a certain agenda , then they are dead ass wrong. Someone not being vaccinated doesn't mess with a thing.

Irrefutable, true statements all around.

It is unfortunate a Governor believes their rules are best in all circumstances of employment, demographics, and regions.

At this point you aren't changing anyone's mind, just like no one else will change your mind.

BTW - Which FDA approved Covid Vaccine do you think everyone should get?

This is a bad analogy and an absence of logic.

I just don’t understand the logic.

If you take the vaccine and you’re safe (because you took the vaccine), then what other people do doesn’t matter…. unless you’re not safe.

If you took the vaccine and aren’t safe, what’s the point of taking the vaccine.

How? Your vaccination status literally does not affect anything.
It could effect production. Just as being late multiple times does. Many preventable illnesses are avoidable with vaccinations. Flu (although the seasonal vaccine is a best guess) is a prime example.
With that said, employers don't dictate alcohol consumption off work. Don't regulate food ingestion, either. Both of these can contribute to loss of production at work, too. They don't require exercise which makes their employees more able to work without premature fatigue and injury.

There are some inconsistencies in play.

DUDE. Rolovich's vaccination status doesn't have a damn thing to do with him coaching this team. His vaccination status has to do with (Comply with our agenda). This is so laughable.

It doesn't, I agree. Furthermore there is almost no risk to the population he is around in his employment.

You made a leap of logic when you expanded the issue to loss of production in other scenarios.

Not sure why you guys are arguing. You seem to agree on the important points.

I'm inclined to agree with you. The greatest battle in terms of the law is Can vs. Should.

I would have been in agreement except for the bold. As was discussed earlier before you decided to plug your ears and say "nuh uh," there are numerous examples of that not being the case.

There are numerous examples of a vaccination status messing with his ability to coach his team? STOP.

I've wondered what becomes of the people terminated if a new governor is elected and nullifies the vaccination requirement. Probably nothing.

Do you believe that any and all terms of employment have to directly affect the employee's ability to do his or her job or those terms are unlawful?
