No, I completely get that...I also get that Mizzou is good, and so is Bama. However, UGA was also good and so was SCar.

We showed up to those games, played a competent and solid gameplan, and even executed on special teams.

The past three weeks we have just been utterly lost on both sides of the ball and especially on ST.

I don't know how to explain it any simpler, but we are getting worse.

You can lob insults and blame it on fatigue or schedule or whatever, but we are just simply not executing anymore and that bothers me.

They have consistently quit the past three games now. Our offense chokes so hard in the redzone, a field goal is all we get.. and that's if we're lucky.

Even when this team actually does manage to cover their lanes on kickoffs, they're too damn slow to do anything about it if the other team manages to get a block or two, which Auburn has done thus far.

They haven't quit. They're just getting smacked against a better team and they can't do anything about it. You can drill fundamentals all you want, but without any talent, this type of game will happen more often than not against a better opponent.

Let's not forget Auburn is really good. They are a top 10 team. We have only played 4 of the best teams in the country.

A good team that was worse than UT was last year.... why would that be? Sounds like auburn got a competent coaching staff instead of a guy riding Brian kellys coattails

Unlike the past stretch of games, we still match up either comparable or better athletically with Vandy.

People just don't know how terrible of a job Chizik did last year. He had way more talent than the record indicated.

Not to mention, a lot of these guys were recruited for Malzahn's system. They've been running it for 2-3 years, so of course they're running wild on us. Auburn's offense was recruited for this system; our offense was not. Our defense is terrible thanks to the previous coach who failed to develop anyone of note.

Minus recruiting, this staff leaves a lot to be desired no doubt. Butch will not win here with Jancek and Bajakian. Much like Fulmer back in the day, Butch is going to have to go outside his comfort zone and hire some top tier coordinators. If he doesn't, Butch will go down with the ship.

Simply a product of our talent, depth, and this horrid schedule !!! Relax it takes years not weeks. How stupid we must sound to people !
