I am jealous of the beer opportunities.

Not to gloat or anything, but we have one of the best traveling fan bases in college football. I have only been following for about 20+ years, but we are everywhere. I used to go to more games (when I didn't have kids), and I was amazed at our fans. I have seen Vols stuff all across the world.

You guys are lucky. We travel well within the Pac -12, but outside of that not so much.

Not going to Oregon, but we left our mark in Berkeley- literally.

We had a group of about 8. We stood in line at 11am waiting for the bar on campus to open. We sat there all day (girls wanted to see campus) and drank until 5pm kickoff. We drank so much that a buddy of mine took a knife and carved "Vols" into the wooden table.

This is me & the mrs in Berkeley, pretty sure it's the same bar...

damn I should have made this trip. 4 month old puts a damper on things. Will be watching tomorrow from Indy, had to promise my wife I wouldn't be in a shi$$y mood if we get
stomped. She's seen a lot of shi$$y moods the last few years, unfortunately. I have tempered expectations for this one so we should be good.

side note, dropped 4 month off at daycare today, so another dad rocking a Power 'T' polo, had a good chat about the vols and the game tomorrow. Always good to meet a fellow vol in the hoosier state.

GBO!

My wings have been clipped a bit too.
It's tough to get away with a 2 month old... whether its across the country to the ducks or across the state (351 miles to Neyland). My 5 year old has been going, and loving it, since she was 2{REALLY}. She ain't happy about missing this year.

We are in a similar situation- I have a 3 year old and a 19 month old and live in Memphis. I am doing well making a trip to Neyland, but I do it every year.

I am actually making a point to go to Norman next year because I have family in NW Arkansas.

If u in Indy, grab as much three Floyd's Zombie dust u can get your hands on. There is NO way u will be able to frown drinking that stuff and u will have better beer than anything they can get in Oregon.

For everyone asking, I played the Bandon Dunes course. Shot 81. Might have been better if I wasn't in such awe of how awesome it was. I posted a thread for people in Oregon that might want to post some pictures of their experience, so that you all can see how it went.

So much orange everywhere. Can't wait for tomorrow. GBO.

You gotta try the other courses at Bandon sometime. Pacific Dunes has some great views too.

I will be. Possibly Monday. I am staying until Wednesday. Going to play a course in Eugene on Sunday.

Best friend works at Bandon Dunes, so we can get on all of the Oregon courses for free :loco:

Yeah, I've been curious, is Norman the kind of place worth visiting? Having a home/home with OU is pretty great, but I don't know if going to Norman would compare going to Eugene, which seems to have a lot more to offer. I've heard the tailgating in Norman isn't very great.
