Didn't know Howard was out.
Lane and Neal are serviceable. North will be a playmaker.
Only way we win is with perfect defense, some turnovers, and our O-line dominates.
If some if you guys ever listened to the coaches interviews you would notice that they repeatedly point out that north keeps running the incorrect depth on his routes and that is the disconnect in getting him the ball. I guess it's just easier to blame Worley, though.

If incorrect depth means out running Worleys 40 yard max, then yeah.
Good Lord. Every team has injuries. It takes time to build depth.
Oregon having more playmakers than UT isn't exactly a revelation.
The 1998 team had injuries. Jamaal Lewis, Al Wilson. Of course, we had more depth and we also had played under the same coaching staff for several seasons.
Robinson was injured but Dickey led us to a Sugar Bowl win.
...and this is why we will be in trouble Saturday. The only two potential playmakers we have, Young and Howard, are out. I'm not even sure what's wrong with Howard--who only touched the ball twice against WKU. We don't have a single guy with big-play potential on the field, though, yes, we could score a long TD if there is a breakdown of pass coverage or a missed tackle or two by the Oregon defensive backfield. And we are the most absurdly unlucky team with injuries. Maggitt hasn't played in forever. Young plays one game against little Austin Peay and breaks his wrist. On and on it goes. I feel the ill wind blowing our way again, I'm afraid.
Watch the throw to Johnathon Johnson last week. Worley threw it more than 10 yards behind the line of scrimmage for a 37 yard completion. That means that the ball went ~50 yards. On a side note, he barely stepped into the throw as well. Therefore, your "40 yard max" comment is incorrect.
