UUHHHHH...have you watched this Memphis team play yet???? Now granted they SHOULD be a great team...and they SHOULD be better than anyone they play...BUT...I watched a couple of games and some of the David Lipscomb game the other night...Man there is something AWFUL about this Memphis team....The ONLY thing I can come up with is well two things...1. ALL THE RECRUITS THAT WERE SO HIGHLY RATED WERE MISSED BY EVERY RECRUITING SERVICE OUT THERE or 2). JOSH PASTNER IS ABSOLUTELY THE WORST COACH IN D1 COLLEGE BASKETBALL...but yes they SHOULD thrash us in Knoxville...check back after the game!!!!

The fact is this team is going to struggle to score BUT they are going to play defense and be in almost every game because of it. They frustrate the hell out of teams and that will wear teams down every night. It won't be pretty but this team will continue to win games which will make most happy, except for the few lunatics.

Doesn't mean we suck, it just means that we play basketball under Martin more like we played football under Kiffin.

Speaking of Pastner- have u seen the video of press conference after the Lipscomb game??? Man that was hard to watch....I really think he's a good guy but man it seems on EVERY LEVEL he's in over his head!!!!

why we keep getting compared to ky they are not the best team in the country this year and they are not even close, if we can get maymon back we would really be a better team imo

Yeah I agree...i dont think we get Maymon back....but he is ABSOLUTELY the key to this team...Now I think if we can shoot the ball better...and it surely cant get worse...we can still win a lot of games this year..especially with the way we play defense..and of course its obvious that we're going to the hole more to get to the free throw line...Now we need to shoot in the 73-74% range from FT line as a team to take advantage of that....

I just have this eery feeling Memphis puts it together for one game, and it'll be against us. If Josh loses to UT the fans will be in meltdown mode, and his seat will get warmer...he beats UT and Memphis fans are thrilled.

This is a much bigger game for Memphis than it is Tennessee.

Oh I dont think there's any doubt about this....If he loses in Knoxville when he SHOULD be a far superior team with all the talent and our best player probably out for the year you can bet that little presser after the Lipscomb game will be nothing compared to what he gets after that game if they lose...So yeah I agree....THEY WILL BE SKY HIGH FOR THIS GAME...

Losses to: #1 duke by 7, #22 ND by 14, and 1 bad loss to a baylor team by 9.

They take care of business against their bad competition.

Cal owns the officials at home and many of our trips to the glass will be called fouls.
Stokes ain't going to school their bigs like we thought.

This years UK team is FARRRRRRR from last years team.

If UK couldn't beat us by 30 last year I really don't see it happening this year.
