James Woods is just plain dumb. The problem is very basic. The 1st Amendment does not apply to censorship from private companies. A private company is allowed to censor it's users. A private company is allowed to limit membership and exclude whomever they want. A private company is allowed to dictate their own terms of service. Freak wasn't in violation of the 1st Amendment when he banned tumscalcium from being a member of this site. Remember him? Yeah, he got the boot and it was perfectly legal.
Well, the executives at Twitter apparently read The New York Times. Per CNN:
For the first time, Twitter called tweets from Donald Trump "potentially misleading" - a decision that prompted the president to accuse the social media platform of election meddling.
On Tuesday, Twitter highlighted two of Trump's tweets that falsely claimed mail-in-ballots would lead to widespread voter fraud, appending a message the company has introduced to combat misinformation and disputed or unverified claims.
"Get the facts about mail-in-ballots," read the message beneath each tweet. It linked to a curated fact-check page the platform had created filled with further links and summaries of news articles debunking the assertion.
Twitter said the move was aimed at providing "context" around Trump's remarks.

This was an unprecedented move from Twitter. I hope this means that Twitter will start fact-checking Donald Trump's conspiracy theories and false information in real time. It will be very embarrassing for Trump to see practically every tweet he sends also come with a disclaimer, with links included to debunk his false narratives. It doesn't look like Twitter is going to put up with Trump's propaganda anymore. This is a great development, because Twitter has been Trump's primary mode of communicating with his followers.
Inside of every hippy-type, pinko lies a capitalist. put up enough $$$$ and they will make the platform for you.Even if we all agree that Twitter is guilty of political partisanship, there is still an important point to make: They are allowed to be politically partisan. They are allowed to be biased in favor of Democrats and against Republicans. They are a private company. If Republicans don't like it, then they should start their own social media platform and censor Democrats. That leads us into the real problem facing Republicans on this matter: They simply don't have the personnel composed of computer science technology engineering and enterprising skills that the liberals in Silicon Valley have, but that is not the fault of Democrats is it?
At least you know the correct term but they can't just delete by picking and choosing sides. That makes them a publisher and they lose all their sweetheart deals and tax breaks. They are a private company they can delete whatever they want from their platform. And almost all of what you said is deleting opinions. They can delete those too. But Trump has a huge tendency of posting bull crap. And it’s totally unacceptable for him to go after Scarborough like this. He is the damn POTUS. Demand some sort of decorum from him. No POTUS in our history plays the victim card like he does. He’s not strong. He is weak minded. His social media is all the proof you need to know that.
Asking that a death needs looked in to isn't saying murder. You and I both know if he mentions it he has some evidence it was probably covered up already. He has literally called a TV personality a murderer every day this week and is still defended. Your faux outrage is noted
Are you claiming the right doesn't throw around the nazi label as well?
Just like the birth certificate he touted for years? No, him saying it does not mean there is evidence behind it. I'm betting on the opposite actually since it was looked into a long time agoAsking that a death needs looked in to isn't saying murder. You and I both know if he mentions it he has some evidence it was probably covered up already.
Does that person (on the right) work for Twitter?
