What’s the likelihood that we see civil unrest soon?

This right here demonstrates that you are not a conservative. If you were you would defend the rights of all people and not support the stripping of rights of the few in favor of the majority. Tell us how this is any different than Luther's "society decides" argument?
You don’t get it Hogg. I’m not. I’m trying to explain there’s already a huge difference in place. Has been for decades. Businesses don’t have the same freedoms as individuals. Never have. It’s always been illegal to discriminate in a place of business where it’s never been illegal for us as individuals to. As individuals we can say/do whatever we wish. As a business owner I understand that I can’t do a lot of those things while at my place of business.

Call it whatever you want but I don’t need to be vaccinated and I won’t be. Around 15% of the population has had it and over 70% have been vaccinated yet cases are worse now than ever. Sounds like those at risk need to do more to take care of themselves.
Amen! I think you’d see a big difference in the way people feel if the damn thing was working. But it’s not. So it leaves me wondering what it’s really all about

Agreed. But there are multiple orders of magnitude between .99 (the number I keep seeing for covid) and .999999 (a number I keep seeing for the vaccine). I will gladly get on a flight with a .999999 safely record but you could not force me into a .99 flight.
You might be able to argue though that for certain demographics ( very specific ones ) that they are more likely to die in some sort of commercial plane accident than from Covid. It’s kind of a silly parallel for me to attempt to draw, but my general point is that in about every facet of life we accept risks that are often equal or greater than the risk of Covid.

And a conservative wouldn't support bad policy based on bad precedent.

I really don’t get it or understand their argument. Not sure why they are so adamant on people getting a vaccine they don’t need. Spend the effort preaching to those that are actually at risk. I mean if the vaccine works they should get it and be good to go.
"Virtue" signaling and not knowing to stay out of other peoples business.

Then call me a realist. An independent. Idc. There’s a difference in individual and business.

Individuals own businesses.

I think you're confusing party affiliation/loyalty with ideology and most people do.

That's just it, you don't know you don't need it until you've been sick. There's gobs of people who are and have been laid up in the ICU on a vent who previously believed "they didn't need it."

Given that the people who are dying are almost exclusively unvaccinated, why roll the dice?
I agree. I dont personally understand why you'd roll the dice on this especially if there is a hint of having a compromised immune system. The vaccine wasn't out when I got covid (couldnt smell bacon, was tired, it was terrible). I got it when it came out. I would have taken it even if I didnt get covid.

But it wasn't because I was afraid of covid, I just hate wearing damn masks. And what I hate even more is seeing a chick with a nice body and not seeing her face because and then I start wondering if she has horse teeth or looks like she chewed broken glass as a kid and then I have doubts if I should even attempt small talk. This is my main covid concern which occasionally haunts my dreams.

And those individuals have more freedom when they leave their place of business. Can we at least agree on that?

For safety purposes you could just tell her to keep the mask on.

Greatest reason to take the vaccine I've ever heard.

The rights of all people? Who decides what those rights are?
Individual rights? Who decides what rights an individual has?

Edit: Not looking for an answer - but I saw my name in your post

And a sheep dog said you were very well behaved

It fascinates me that you believe that your personal opinions make you unique somehow and that anyone believing differently are "sheep."
