Went to Aldi today eggs were down to 1.89. 5 weeks ago they were over $4 a dozen. Got 3 dozen. Very glad to be utilizing eggs again in ways besides breakfast. I'll never take them for granted again.

Wasn't sure where to post. Celebrating the small victories.

Last night I ate a chicken pot pie from KFC at the Deli in Food City because all of the power was off and
then today for lunch at work I had house fried rice with shrimp, chicken, carrots, peas and onions from
a local Chinese restaurant and it was really good and.....my power was back on today....YAY

Aldi brand Mac and cheese is a staple around here. 50 cents a box. Add a little frozen broccoli and you got 4 servings of a delicious side. Chicken looks amazing btw.

For some reason was craving Firehouse Subs. Tried the Firehouse Hero. Did not like it as much as the Hook and Ladder that never lets me down.
